How often should you update your spyware scanner?

Last week, I tried to run my spy-ware scanner, cause I noticed that my computer was running slow and thought it might be a virus. But, when I did, it kept insisting that my "definitions" were old and asked to download new ones....

mfairuz For me...neither AVG nor NOD32 best. It depend on how regular u update it. However AVG well known for it detection. Some other virus or trojan AVG can't detect or clean it. But NOD32 can. Its always not the same. Each of them had their own speciality. About...

mfairuz Windows XP. More stable than others. It also well known. For Vista....it need lots of RAM. As far as i know..it need at least 512MB RAM. That means a lot to me. I prefer XP. However its up to u to choose.
