mollyrose All of the lawyers in my area want a big sum for a consultation. I haven't been able to find one who will do a free one. The free legal services in my area do not handle family law so they can't help me.

mollyrose Its reasonable to charge .25-.50 per item and if its a really fancy shirt like $1. Jeans that are in good shape are usually $1.
