High school diploma, or General Education Diploma? I'm at a lost cuz I got the GED, but now thniking if I should get high school diploma instead.

monkeymind I was real close to dropping out of school; couldn't stand the authority, but I kept telling myself that I had to get that diploma. No one has ever asked to see it. There is always a box to check on job applications referring to your level of education, but...

monkeymind Yes, I'm bipolar and on meds. My last doc had me on so many meds. I switched and now I'm only on 2. Zoloft and Doxepen. I feel much better.

I talk to my pets a lot. When my very first puppy was with me, I use to just talk to her and she usually put her head on my lap and listen to me. After my duaghter died, I guess she knew about it and she didnt eat for 3 days....

monkeymind I talk to mine all the time. His name is Edward. He is a Congo African Grey parrot and he talks to me. I always talked to my pets whether they talked back or not.

monkeymind Neither my husband nor I ever wanted children. We've been married 26 years. Neither of us could ever tolerate having kids around. It's probably from our own childhoods. But I never regret not having any; it wouldn't have been fair to the child.

monkeymind We were separated for 8 months in '93 and again for 8 months just this year. Things never change. They change for a while when you live separtely, but in no time at all things return to the same life you once left. I've been stuck in this revolving door....

monkeymind I don't believe you ever learn to deal with the ups and downs; at least I haven't. I've lived with this alcoholic for 32 years and still can't deal with him when he drinks. He never sits in bars; drinks at home out of my sight. I've left and come back...
