Truecrypt is free open source software which creates a virtual encrypted disk within a file and it can be mounted as real disk. It does not need extracting a file, just mount the disk and access it like a real hard drive or flash...

montagia Even if you keep your antivirus up to date there is a minor possibility of virus getting undetected. But still chances are very less of account getting hacked if you keep your antivirus up to date.

montagia May be using personal computer is safe than using public computers. There is a higher chance of your account getting hacked if you use public computer. I shall use my own computer to do online banking.

montagia Yes truecrypt is something different and very convenient to use. The best thing is it does not require extraction before viewing the file. Just mount it and use as a normal hard drive, copy & paste stuffs. And one more thing this is a free open source...
