mothershaveneedstoo They are almost completely different laws - the 7 Noahide laws and the 10 commandments. Check it out more thoroughly on the link I copied above. There are some groups who call themselves B'Nai Noach (Sons of Noah) who follow these laws. Here's a yahoo group...

mothershaveneedstoo Yes, we are speaking the same thing: disciplines, rituals, etc. In Judaism, we say if you are following the commandments of G-d, you are doing the disciplines and rituals and so you are "religious". I am human and there all lots of disciplines that can be done...

mothershaveneedstoo Thanks. I do get something out of ritual. The rituals can bring me closer to G-d. For example, I light candles on Friday night because it is one of the Highest forms of ritual for a Jewish woman. I feel that by doing that ritual, I usher Light into our home. I...
