APasserBy I am still here just not as active this year and last year the recession needed us to make changes at home and business life now it's recovery time but there are some things we still have to do personally so I can't get online as much

catdla1 LOL...I stretch that holiday time a bit myself. I start with Halloween, by taking advantage of all the candy sales afterwards. Nothing like a good chocolate buzz to get us thru the shopping, and other hectic times, huh?

estherlou Good point! We do tend to get 'in the holiday mood' starting with Thanksgiving until the end of the year. So, you're right...Happy Holidays encompasses about 5 weeks of time.

Polly1 I like Merry Christmas too. But there is a time when Happy Holidays is appropriate. There are several holidays that are close together. Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah. Ramadan, New Years, That way you don't leave anyone out or offend anyone.
