How often should you scan for your computer for viruses?

nairdaleo Never! I'm on Mac. But when I was on PC I used to scan once a month, Norton is pretty effective although new viruses are fit to go against Norton, so pretty much for those I had to go directly against the virus, not always a pretty fight, but I always won.

nairdaleo cable! And it is good, although I used to have 1mbps DSL + WiFi at home (now I'm a student away from home) But, Cable is fine; I've seen though some people with insane speeds, like 13 mbps, always leaves me with bug eyes.
