Nerophile The book my professor was referring to was The Brothers Karamazov by Fyodor Doestoyevsky. It is a wonderful book but very depressing.

Nerophile I'm with you. It's not even about the consumerism aspect of it. It just seems to dilute the whole experience when done too early. Thanks for your comment.
