nihalnihal Please try this http://www.dirfile.com/dvd2avi_ripper_free.htm I have not used this particular software but you can try it and do me know the outcome! It sure wont do any harm so don't worry!

nihalnihal There's another suggestion though! It could be possible that the dvd you have is content protected, which doesn't allow us to directly copy into the computer just like some audio cds! In this case you will need to get a dvd ripper software. There are many...

nihalnihal Yeah I got that point but it must have atleast a kernel to start a process namely the mplayer. The case here may be that the kernel of this distro may be really small to fit into the RAM. What do you think about this? Am I right?
