Can you dive with your eyes open?

I don't know how people do it? Or how the movies make it. People can go under water with their eyes open. It is cool to be able to see things under the water, but I just couldn't get my eyes open under water. Won't the water hurt...

noteDE I never hurt by a ride.I only ride bikes.When I learn to ride bikes I have been 10.It is too old.In fact, I haven't ridden bikes for five years.
