Does anyone have any potty training tricks?

I have a 2 and a half year old son, who will not potty train! My son will go as for as asking to go and then sitting on the potty, but NOTHING ever...err... comes out! I have tried bribbing him with candy and making sticker...

onemommy you can also make some out of colored tissue paper and a scrapbooking star punch. my son was the same way. the peeing thing was not as big a deal, but every time he had to poop... we would give him 2 M&Ms...he is a chocoholic, thanks to his father. : )
