piggybank Out of my experience there seem to be two types of people; those who get into the maths logic and can do calculations with a blindfold and those who struggle with the basics. Having a more theoretical brain myself, I find maths painful...

2. Do you feel it is just hypocritical, you give your love one something special on valentines day and act all nicey nicey and then treat them like...

piggybank Well, I am a self-confessed Valentine's Day sceptic, so my answers are going to be predictable I'm afraid...
1. Come to think of it, you always have birthdays and anniversaries to celebrate with your love ones. So no, you don't really need another special...

Do you only drink it when you have a particular health problem or do you drink it for the taste? or maybe both?
For me it is both as there are some really nice herbal teas like fennel, which I love any time.

piggybank Can't say, I love herbal tea almost as much as I love coffee... I guess I drink it later in the day, when I don't need the caffeine boost that much, but I can still do with a beverage.
My favourite herbal teas are fennel and nettle... and anything vanilla...

I recently (well a few months ago) started reading Italian fiction, so far I've read Umberto Eco, Italo Calvino and Guiseppe Genna. Are there any more that someone could recommend to me? I really love the playfulness of all three...

piggybank I read a book by Elio Vittorini as well, which I liked very much, but since I read it in Italian, I won't know the title in English (the title in Italian translates to "Conversations in Sicily" so it might be something similar).
I'm more into Italian films...

Until about a week ago I was a smoker and giving up has made me think about peoples attitudes to smokers. I heard someone make a good point on television a while ago. People have no qualms now about going up to someone they see...

piggybank Well, having been in both positions at some time in my life, I can tell you that it's definitely easier to quit smoking than to lose weight. In many cases, being overweight does not come as a result of stuffing yourself silly, but is connected with certain...

piggybank Well done and keep going! After years of struggling, I finally managed to quit two years ago. Since then, I never looked back. I get the occasional craving, but I try to do something else to take my mind off it. I'm sure that in the end you will feel fit and...
