What's your take on Mother's Day?

Is it still a day to honor mothers or do you think it is celebrated just to promote consumerism? Has it become too commercialized?[

pinkpepper I do like it but it doesn't mean that I often eat it. I sometimes have grilled chicken liver with a bottle of cold beer. :)

Young people...what's your impressions of them?

Most older people have mixed reactions about young people. These would vary from admiration to annoyance and even pity. I worked with a lot of young people and I met a lot of them who can be considered as very responsible citizens...

pinkpepper Yes, I have worked with young people and I know for a fact that can do so much for the society. We just have to give them a chance to do it and believe in their capacity to serve.

Alternative/Traditional Medicine

I was talking with somebody and our topic veered towards some common ailments and how to deal with it. She mentioned that a poultice made of potato is good for sunburn and that ginger tea can help alleviate sore throat....

pinkpepper Hi. I am into massage and tea. After a long day's work, I'd take a cup of tea to soothe me and I also have it when I have stomach ache or colds. Massage relaxes me and soothes away the pain.
