Need to Increase Website traffic

I'm planning to launch a website and I'm looking forward to generate some revenue through advertisements. How do I assure that my site get enough hits. I'm aware of a few of them like, adword, socialmarker etc. Any other idea?

poomath Try to burp him. May be it's just wind. Anyway, it's quite normal for newborns to cry for no apparent reason. He's new to this world and will take time to settle down. All the best :)
