do you have an appetite when you have colds?

I know how u feel, right now I'm sick. I can't keep everything down and the smells make me more sick.

i also dont like to eat when i have a cold. it is because we cant smell the food which is so annoying. i hate having a cold aaahh

When I have colds it does not stop me from having all the food that I love to eat at all.

Oh yes! I have an appetite no matter what:) I can be really sick, but when it's time to eat, there I am hungry and ready for my meal hehe Sometimes I wish I would loose my appetite but on second thought maybe it's not the best idea.

I'm always hungry and I have appetite with or without colds. Anyway is true that if one can't smell what he eats,the taste is less good.

It depends on how bad of a cold I get. If it is just a mild cold I am just fine. But there are times that I get a cold so bad that I don't even want to get out of bed for any reason. I have to be able to smell the food I am putting into my mouth.

I realy don't eat at all hate drinking too with cold or any other sickness

Nope, don't feel like eating when I'm sick. I'll have the odd soup but thats about it. I prefer to drink lots of liquids especially orange juice!

I am the same way. I guess it is where you cant taste anything it takes all the pleasure out of it for sure. I drink alot though alot of hot drinks like cup of soups and herbal green teas. I find it helps me breath a little better and helps with the congestion too. NOw that i think of it not only do i have no appetite when i am sick with a cold i dont get hunger pangs either funny about that.

if it's a head cold,i usually lose my desire to eat entirely until i'm starting to recover.i usually feel so lousy i just want to sleep.

yes i lose my appetite when I get cold, I even lose appetite when I'm ill in any way, maybe it's physical or just mental reaction and kind of depression for not feeling well.

My appetite goes away when I'm sick too. For one thing I can't taste the food so it's really not appealing to me. And another thing is that I just don't have the energy to eat when I'm sick. All I want to do is lay around and sleep. Going to the kitchen to get some food is just way to much work when I'm sick lol.

yes, this problem troubled me a lot . you know I am very fat and have a very good appetite, even when I got a colds, or got a silk in other items . I wish I have no appetite when I was sick, but it does't woke,any time , I always have a very good appetite, no one can't save me , I think but God.

I agree. Sometimes i don't even eat whenever i have colds. It's just that i can't taste what i'm eating. lolz

when ever I get cold or flu I hate to eat as I dont think it dose much good as for not smelling food never thought of it some times when I cook food with out a cold to me sometimes dont smell good and every one likes it so I guess that is just me

When I have a cold, I am rarely hungry. Someone could make my favorite dinner, and I would not eat it. However, when I have a cold, I AM thirsty. Constantly. For water, and strangely enough, for orange soda. Otherwise, normally I don't drink orange soda.

Yes, that happens to me when I have colds too. I just don't really feel in the mood to eat much, and I don't really get very hungry either. I have to admit, sometimes I'm sort of glad about that part of having a cold since it makes me lose a few pounds usually. hehe

same as you feel.. i dont wanna eat when i had cold.. i feel sick when i had cold.. my taste bud are feeling numb.. and i dont wanna have a cold anymore.. :(

I don't want to eat much when I'm sick. I don't think food taste very good when your sick.
