I love to crochet, cross-stitch, embroider, do machine embroidery, and I'm trying to get better at knitting. What kind of arts/crafts can you do?

I'm not really a craftsy person. But, recently I've tried making candles. I enjoy doing it and it is something different. Otherwise I'd probably spend all day on the computer.

Soy candles? Hmm, I like the all natural idea. Thanks for posting.

I make soy candles, they are so much cleaner then the wax candles. And, I've even found all natural wicks, so my candles are all natural. I don't know if I could sell them or not, it seems like a lot of people make candles. I would love to be able to make some extra money by selling some.

I love stamped cross stitching, as I cannot do the regular kind. Scrapbooking is my biggest craft favorite. I also like card-making, and paint-by-number kits. The paint-by-numbers can be kind of frustrating, however. I also like doing latchooking, although that gets really repetitive. So you say you are trying to get better at knitting? I've actually been meaning to learn how to knit. Good luck!

I hope you learn how to knit too. I like to latchhook too. I love the counted cross-stitching, I don't care much for the stamped cross stitching. Thanks for posting.

I do a lot of different needlework, knit, sew, crochet, machine embroidery. I have usually got several projects going at a time. Most of my supplies come from yard sales, or thrift stores. I like to change patterns to make something especially my own. I especially like to give my home-made things as gifts.

I am doing cross-stitch right now to ease my boredom here at home. I wish I will learn about knitting but no one has the time to teach me how do to it.

I used to do needlepoint, then cross-stitch, and I've been crocheting since I was about nine. I learned to hand spin in the mid-1980s and I've been doing that and crocheting the most. Felting and needle-felting is also a lot of fun but hard on the hands and back for me.

Hand-spin sounds really interesting. I have seen felting and it looks like it would be hard on the hands. Thanks for posting.

I recently crocheted a baby blanket for my daughter who is due in September. She picked out blue before she knew what she was having, and I already have it made. So since she found out she is having a girl, I will now need to make a pink one. I also make jewelry, faith related jewelry. I sell them as witnessing tools. Though I haven't broadened the selling of it further than my church, I would eventually like to sell to others for fundraisers, or witnessing tools. Just to name a few that I make, I make bracelets that say I (heart) Jesus, and Jesus (heart) you. I have also made faith related book markers. Well that is a few of the things that I have had my hands into recently.

I love cross stitch. I can sew my own dress too. But only the traditional design which I have made a polar so that I just have to follow it to cut the fabric. Lol. I have done so many pictures on cross stitch. I've done a mosque, a garfield cartoon, two lovers sharing a flower pot, a bunny, and I've done my own sofa cover with cross stitch. It feels worth while to have my own handcraft been used.

I love quilting, however, now my daughter and her 2 kids have moved in with me, I don't have time any more, let alone room to lay a quilt out and pin it. I used to do a lot of knitting and crocheting, but I haven't done any since before my granddaughter was born 18 months ago.

I have slacked off on my handwork too. Yes, I can understand where you don't have the room anymore to quilt. I'd love to learn to quilt. I used to help my mama but never done it by myslef. Thanks for posting.

If you can cross-stitch, then you will be able to learn embroidery easy. They have a lot of stitches that are close to the same. Thanks for posting.

I can crochet and cross stitch. I am not a professional in either hobby, but I'm capable of making crafts. As long as it's nothing too difficult I can handle it. I have two babies right now, but when they're a little older I'd like to do both of these hobbies more often.
