Hi keeshka, 500 comments includes posting and replying. Every 1st comment you do is equivalent to 1 point and posting a topic is also equivalent to 1 point. It is summed up all , and it is shown beside your user name how many points do you earn in your responses and posting a topic.

Could you explain about 500 comments How do you know how many comments you have posted do you have to add them all up or what? Denise

The star means your mylot reputation. It doesn't mean that you will earn more. Thanks for asking, friend.

I'm sure you'll have a 10 star in no time at all. I started with a 6 (or was it a 7? :P) and had to work my way up. It took some time, and luckily it's been staying where it's at (97/100). I know it shouldn't really matter what our rating is though as it's not the most important thing on here, but it's still nice just the same. :)

Oops, I meant to say reputation, not rating. That's what I get for typing after 1 in the morning. :P LOL

Thanks bro. Yeah isn't it a wonderful feeling to have a star and its already a 9 for a beginner like me. I just reply and reply eveytime im at mylot and if i found interesting topics to respond to. Well I do start some discussions but im more on into replying to a certain topic. :)

Yes, it is a good sign that people look favourably on your input, and I guess one's attitude would be a little different if their star ranking was pretty low!

Hello muscare, I think it's a common feeling most mylotters feel when they are new at mylot and notice that most mylotters do responses have already their stars displayed. It will boast one's enthusiam to do their best so they could get their stars too. In my case that is where i get my motivation and keep myself always at mylot and do responses and posting topic where i can make my response too. I am too much eager to get my star. At first i felt that making 100 posts is such a long journey to make but when I'm already near to reaching it I just found it so easy. Maybe if your enjoying what you do you will not notice anymore on how many posting and responses you have made. And finally when i got mystar. I feel so happy. plus i already get a 9 star.I think it is a pretty good start. I wish i can maintain it and hopefully i can get myself a blue star too, just like yours. :) Blue stars i think is their highest rating given to a deserving mylotters! and i guess your one of those who deserves to get the highest mark. I must congratulate you for having the blue star muscare. Congratulations to you and keep up the good work. Maintain your blue star. And i wanna thank you for responding to my discussion. Hi monica, Yeah, it is indeed a rewarding feeling to finally get a star of your own. We share the same feeling of excitement when i finally reached 100 posts (giggles) :) Im just to happy not to let everybody knows about my feeling!
