This horrified me when I first saw it on the local news yesterday. A Montgomery, AL man (and I use the term loosely) chained up, beat with a shovel, and then set his dog on fire, because his parents wouldn't let him use their car!...

I think yes.... as our old frinds are much more worth than what time we spend... but i do agree that it is also used for illegal activities too...but where there is a good thing,people tend to use it for bad things too...
