huhuhu!!! Im sad my star moved down:(

Don't be upset, friend. It is ok to see the stars fall down. We cannot always expect to be on top. It is just like our life, sometimes up and sometimes down. Of course, it would be encouraging to have always the stars go to the top till blue with 100 mylot reputation.

Oh you're at an 8 Sheen. Come back when you hit 5 or lower. Then I'll really be concerned. Sorry you lost your standing though.

If my star moves up or down it doesn't matter to me anymore I just enjoy coming in here to post to a discussion or sometimes I just come in here and read or talk to some of my friends. Don't let the stars make you feel like quitting or staying. It really isn't a big deal. I know some people in here that have started some really good discussions and have really low stars and it doesn' bother them. Star ratings no big deal. just have fun.

this happens to us all, its just a result of the plus or minus ratings your work has got not a good feeling when it goes down, i agree

i'm sorry to hear that. several weeks ago, my stars got down to 8 from 9. i was very sad and disappointed, but now it turns back, so take it easy, and post more and more qualified discussions and responses, then it will turn back soonly. besides, it is not the most important thing here. you can express your feeling and you have friends here, so dont' have the thinking of quitting from mylot. good luck, friend. i hope you can get it back in few days.

Ohhh heeyyyyyy....why was that sheen? When I open your profile to send you some comments I seen this message and really catched my attention. Gosh! Why was it like that? Nah ah sistah. Don't ever quit. If you do I will quit too. Maybe there were some people out there pulled you down.(sigh) Duh sistah. Let's not count our star anymore. Let's just continue and as far as I know your earnings were increasing that much. Let's hit October to be our payout sistah. This happens to everyone. I see a lot of people post about it. I never did because I know it isn't permanent, and we can't change it anyway. But if we continue to do good discussions and good responses, then it will go back up before we know it. It did for me.

well sometimes its unfair but girl trust me don't just stay down .. motivate yourself to bring that star back . . i know what you feel but thats ok . a thing like that won't stop you from posting right?!

Hi there, what's been up to lately buddy? Well, we have different stories regarding that Star Rating thing here. My star doesn't move down either move up for more than 2months and it's seems that this Star of mine is Stuck with me. I am doing such effort and receiving good feed backs with my discussions and responses but still, my #9 doesn't move up to #10. I wanna get that Star Rating 10 but im Stuck with my #9. But it doesn't worry me that much, coz i am still happy whatever Star I have here, coz even we don't have any star here my dear, we are still able to earn here and that is the most important. "Star Rating is just a computer thing" and that's came from, from one of my friend here who responded on my discussion to help me to motivate myself even without having that Star. So Cheer up! I understand how you feel. Its very frustrating. This seems to be happening to me a lot lately. You shouldnt just give up and quit though. I know so many people on here dont post anything that would make someone else mad. And they do this because of fear of their rating going down. We are supposed to be able to express our opinions and we shouldnt have to worry if we are going to make someone mad. Just give it a couple of days im sure you will get right back up there. did you happen to have any kind of argument with any of the mylot users? if so, he/she might have given you negative ratings so that is why your rating must have gone down. i saw a similar discussion posted somewhere where the discussion starter told that he had an argument with someone and that user rated him with a minus on as much posts as possible and his mylot reputation went down drastically in a matter of one update.

I see this was started a week ago, so I'm sure glad you didn't leave! Really, hon, don't let it get you down. I'm still working on getting to a 9 but I know there are some who have given me negatives because they disagree with me and I don't shy away from hot topics. I always make sure to be polite and respectful but I guess some people miss the whole point of myLot which is to have discussions and you're not expected to rate people based on what their opinions on certain issues are but on whether or not their posts add to the discussion or if the discussions they start are good and thought provoking. Anyway, hang in there and you'll get it back up in no time! Annie

I am sorry that your star is down, the same thing happenened to me too. I still post I just try not to post sensitive issues anymore. Try not to let it get you down.

I am sorry for you. On mylot this is one thing which is negative. Your star rating goes down, your posts are deleted, your earnings go down. But you do not know the reason why it has happened. It does not give you any chance to improve or I would say rectify your mistakes.

hello sheenmadness, don't be sad, you can still work on it, take it as a challenge not as a defeat. it feels disappointing but that really happens not just to you but to other people here in mylot. i experienced that too, i got the highest star w/c is blue (10)in my third week here but then in my fourth week it went down to red (9) star. but i still keep on going cause i don't care too much about the star but the quality of discussions i make here and the enjoyment that i get replying to discussions.
