It will be Christmas Day! I can't believe how fast this year has gone! It is amazing!
The weather here has been so warm that it feels more like June than October and thank God we are getting some very much needed rain!
I love Christmas, but it just seems that we just celebrated it!
Do you find that time goes by really fast?

Yes, time does really go by way too fast. Can't seem to catch my breath. Seems like I meet myself coming and going, especially working 50-60 hours a week lately. It's hard to believe Christmas is upon us once again. Not my favorite time of the year, because too many people focus on gifts and not the true meaning of Christ birth.
It has been pretty warm here in Indiana, but at least we finally got the much needed rain we needed this past week. And alas more normal temps for October.

So true terri!
We are way too focused on gifts and buying gifts than the true meaning of Christmas. We need to remember that it is the celebration of Jesus' birth and focus on that.
Plus, the weather has been so warm that it feels like we should be getting ready for the 4th of July! lol! It's cooling off though!

It will be coming even faster for me. My side of the family will be meeting at the beach for the week of Thanksgiving. It has been decided that since we will all be together, we should go ahead and celebrate Christmas on Friday after Thanksgiving. And I haven't even started shopping.
It should be fun though.
Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas to you all!

It seems like the days and the weeks and the months just tend to blur together...same old thing all of the time. And then before you know it...it is time for Christmas. That is when we notice how quickly it seems that the year went by. This week is Thanksgiving, and next week will be December!

I find that sometimes it speeds up, while other times it as slow as a turtle. The latter occurred when I was waiting for going on our cruise and later on for our trip to Prince Edward Island, but Christmas. I have to get presents for everybody, and decide on who eats at where. I will have to cook my favorite squares and shortbread. I do not have enough money yet. Christmas is going to be a bother and to top it up, there is the Christmas concert and I hope I do not get bronchitis this year. It gets rather cold and damp up here.

I know what you mean. Time does tend to slow down when you are looking forward to vacation or when you are sick. I guess I stay so busy with things, that it just makes it go by so fast.
I pray you do not get bronchitis this year too! Stay well!
God bless.

It is really hard to believe it is only two more months until Christmas. I hadn't thought time was going by fast until I stopped to think about it. I remember six months ago, calculating how long it was until Christmas and family get togethers. It is getting chilly here now, so the weather definitely feels more like Christmas time weather.

I know how you feel, it does seem like yesterday and each year I say to my self "I must get started earlier with my xmas shopping" but no here it is just around the corner again and still no shopping etc in site. I did however get a xmas hamper organized which will arrive very soon so at least we will have food for the event. I also have about 10 birthdays to buy for and that is just a week before xmas and a couple of weeks after Jan so a very expensive time for me. Enjoy your rain, we have heaps and I am looking forward to our Summer.

indeed, either time runs fast or shop owners...they have already decorated the windows for Christmas and everywhere you look, you can see Christmas items and offers and so on...somebody has the lights already put on, too..it is too early, I think. But you see, Rome is such a touristic time that they want to be sure that tourists can buy here their Christmas present. The weather is crazy, sometimes warm, sometimes so cold that you think...it is Christmas time..anyway I love Christmas and this year it will be happier because there are our beloved little nephews and I hope I will have my PhD paper discussed..

Yes I find that time has been moving pretty quickly. I am thankful for the much needed rain as well! My husband was slated to come home in March for leave but they changed it to January so that excites me even more! I can't wait! I feel like we just had the holidays from last year and here we are again ready for another round.
