Yes, I agree with you. But there are also many good movies like FANTASTIC FOUR, OREGON, HARRY POTTERS . I like them a lot. Yes, the matrix trilogy rocks. IMO, bullet time is the best special effect of all time.

Yes it was one movie which i wished to see when i was a kid and luckily there was a pre-quel planned when i was a teenager and it was an awesome presnt to visual effects and advanture savvy people. Its enjoyable for both kids and gworn ups.

Star Wars was and still is a great movie of all time when you talk about it space wise that is.But Star Trek does not fall far behind.

It's a great movie. But i wouldn't say it's the best though. However, i enjoyed watching the details.

I agree. I have many pleasant memories associated with the Star Wars movies. When the original movie came out in 1977, I had just become VP/Software R&D for a new computer company in Silicon Valley. We shut down the entire company the day Star Wars opened, and the company paid for a special afternoon screening of the movie for all employees at a local theater. Amazon currently has a good deal available on the original three movies in widescreen format: http://kevin.ultimaterep.com/amazon.cgi?B00003CXCT A few years later, I was invited to George Lucas' Industrial Light and Magic in San Rafael, where I saw a movie just of special effects footage in his private theater. I was glued to my seat!!
