Is it important to give or receive chocolate on valentine day. My boyfriend doesn't want any chocolate n wants to spend the valentine day with our friends.
So, i didn't give any chocolate, n so did he. But my friends asked me whether he give me any chocolate. Is it very important to you personally?? Sometimes i got confused with this, do the boys or the girls who give the chocolate??

i think what matters the most is the time you spend together with your bf/gf instead of the chocolate.

I think it's nice to show the one you love some appreciation ...whether it's chocolate, flowers, or even just a card they made themselves. My husband and I don't usually give each other chocolate but I'll usually make a healthy dessert to share.

I don't think it's chocolate per se that is so important, nor is it the giving or exchanging of "gifts" at all.
Valentine's Day, at its purest, is about the time and quality of another loved one. It's about having the time to be with those people who you love. It's not about gifts or giving anything to a person. Enjoy who you are with, not what they gave you.

I think in valentine's day, boy gives chocolates and flowers to the girl, while in white day, the girl will give chocolate to that boy, as her thanks for valentine's day.

It's not all that important to me what gift I get on Valentine's Day. Chocolate, flowers or dinner out are what I think of as the traditional type of Valentine's gifts. There are lots of other things I would be just as happy with.
Shopping for chocolates AFTER Valentines is important to me though! We stocked up on some very nice chocolates that were 75% off the next day. :)
