My daughter went to the funeral today. She said it was the worst thing she has ever done. She was in an open casket and looked like a porcelain doll. She said the mother was doing better than the dad. My daughter told her everyone was praying for her and she said to Thank everyone. So, thank you all for all the prayers.

thats thoughtful of you you know i was about to send you a pm to ask how the family is doing?sometimes we think men are very strong because of our outlook whereas we are soft at heart especially when it comes to loosing a loved one i guess that is why the father was finding a little hard to cope than the mother.may the Lord be with them ,and may they never suffer such a loss again(did i hear you say amen with me?)

Oh gosh that must have been heartbreaking, I could not have beared to see that poor little darling in their. The poor parents how utterly terrible it must be for them, I cannot even begin to imagine what they are going through. It was one thing I used to worry about constantly with all four of mine. Thank you for letting us know and I hope the prayers gave her strength at such a sad time.

I'm sure our prayers helped. I was so glad to hear they were doing good. My daughter had her laughing and joking around. I could not bring myself to go see her. Its bad enough to see an adult. Thanks again!

I hope and pray that their grief is light. Grief can play with your life something terrible.
They are still on my prayer list.

it is very hard. i had a cusion that i wasn't all that close with at the time and she had twins but one had passed and i took it so hard. the other twin is 11 now and it all seems unreal. i don't even think i took it so hard because she was my cusion i think it was just because she was a baby and it was so hard to see. they are so helpless at that point.
and as far as the mo doing better then the dad that may be the case but they really need to watch her cuz my cusion didn't take it that hard until about a month after and then it all seemed to hit her and hard.
my heart really goes out to this family i couldn't even imagin their pain right now.

Yeah I know what you mean. I never met this little baby but I wanted to cry. And it was because it was a baby. Yeah I don't think it has really sunk in yet.

How sad for the family. It is sad to wait nine months for a baby to be born and then to only have her for four months. I cannot imagine what they are going through and even though the father is stoic, I am sure he is suffering in his heart and trying to be calm. At least the parents know that your daughter came to lend them her support. My prayers go out for them and for a cure so that no parents will go through what they went through.

They only had her for about 5 weeks. Yeah they were so happy to see her. The mother has sisters but she wanted my daughter by her side. I do hope so too.

I agree. I'm sure her doctor has given her some meds to keep her calm. I'm sure reality will hit sooner or later.

Even with the description...I still couldn't imagine the whole thing...
Please tell your daughter she is always welcome when it comes to prayers, thoughts, well wishes or advice. I do hope she is doing well, and you too Queen.
