do you make a list when you go shopping

Ha... I have no this custom. When I go shopping with my girlfriend, we always go into one shop, then go out, and go into another shop again. We just to go into every shop, and don't know what we want to buy, but if we find something we are all want to buy, we will buy it immediately.

No,I don't do that,but my mom do make a list.So I guess maybe I will use one when I am old.

I normally have a shopping list, I tend to keep a note pad in the kitchen so I can make notes when I see groceries getting low in the cupboard or the fridge. I actually find shopping a lot easier when I am alone as my partner is always putting extra goods into my shopping trolley, often without thinking that we might not actually need these things.

i do make a list i refer as a scale of preference for the fact that i don't know the prices of all the items i'm going to buy and may not be able to buy all. so i do this in order to buy the most pressing needs first. i think it's very good to make a list for if you buy what is very important to you first even if you run out of funds you'll not regret for buying what you bought. sometimes too if the items needed are many one may forget some vital ones and later regret.

I always have to make a list or I will buy unnecessary things. Sometimes I wish I could buy things online and have them deliver them on the same day.

It depends on the amount of things I'm going to buy,if I really need to buy many things,then I will make list in case of missing any of them.

if buying stuffs that i don't usually buy, i make a list and take it with me to the grocery. like when i'm shopping for food ingredients or treats for a birthday or special occasion, i usually make a list. but sometimes i don't make a list if the food i'm going to make is just one and my specialty. i can remember the ingredients in my mind since i always make it. and then, if i'm buying personal stuffs, like toiletries and all, i don't need a list. sometimes i make a list in my cellphone but most of the time i don't and i just recall what i need to buy by thinking of all the things i use from waking up to sleeping.

Most of the time, I really make a list of our shopping needs. In my case, it is so effective. With it, I won't be able to forget anything. All the things that I need will surely be bought. I need to do it really because I am so fed up with so many things. So, doing it refreshes my memory.

Sometimes I will make a list so that I won't miss something to buy. But sometimes I don't have such a list, as I go shopping for entertainment only. Perhaps I will buy something that I don't want.

I start to make a list through the week or however long before I go shopping to kind of write things down as we need them but half the time I forget it at home lol. I have to try to remember to make it and than put it in my purse otherwise it will never make it to the store.

LOL I do this too, I find shopping with someone is a distraction so if my daughters are coming with I always make sure I write a list otherwise they fill the basket with unecesasary items that are not needed and that I can't make proper family meals with, but when I am on my own I just buy what I know we need. I always try to make a list of what I need to buy whether I have my husband with me or not. Without a list, I keep to forget buying the essentials and would only remember once I get home. I have also noticed when I do go shopping with a list at hand, I finish my shopping a lot faster than having to think of what I need to buy on the spot.

I have never made a list.I think there is no need to make it.I have never gone shopping myself to buy the things which are important.I only buy some junk food for myself.

it depends. when i'm alone, i don't usually make lists but if i'm with my mother or boyfriend, i usually make some list

I used to do this when I shop with my dad but now, no more. I only do a list when I do grocery shopping. Cheers!!

I sometimes make a partial list of what we need, but then I often forget to take it out of my purse. :) My fiance thinks that when we make a list, we spend more at the grocery store. This is probably because we end up forgetting a lot of things we need when we don't take a list! :)

I do not have the habit to have alist for my shopping, but now I try to form the habit. For I find that I always forget things now, to make sure i will not lose the thing I need, I try to make a list before the shopping. And I will set a price for the thing I want, so that I will not spend too much on the thing I want to buy.

i do not listing when i go for shopping this is the reason why i hate shopping with a companion. i do shopping on my own without companion. i feel comfortable doing it alone. i don't want somebody to criticize what items i should buy.

I never make a list.I can just go to the supermarket and by what I need.I don't see it's necessary for me for make a list.

Before, I would make a list of all the things I will buy before getting my pay. But then, I tend to buy things not in my list so the more I will be more frustrated because I did not buy the ones that are on the list. Now, I only do grocery list since I tend to buy more food than my necessities.
