When I was a kid, I hated cooking. I told time and time that I won't cook, even if I love to eat. My brother told me that if I love to eat, I need to learn how to cook, too, so since then I started learning how to cook. My first legitimate cooked meal was the meal I served my cousin/nanny when she got so sick and I was the only one here in the house to watch over her. A new cookbook? What kind? Share us the progress of your learning, okay? Good luck. Here's to the sumptuous meals you'll serve in the future. Cheers!

I love to cook. And frankly speaking, I'm the best cook in our clan...Whenever there is occasion in our family, they always call for me...I learned how to cook from my grandmother and of course my mother too. When you love to cook the food that you will prepare will taste good, believe me.

Mmmhmm. I love cooking. I've been doing it for so many years, some of it in defiance of my own parents. Anyways, I love doing it, and experimentation in cooking is very fun too.

yes i do like cooking.I feel better if i eat the food i have cooked.that gives a lot of satisfaction.and if u cook any item and if u get compliments for that u feel like u have touched the sky.that gives a lot of satisfaction.and 1 more thing is there is no need for u to depend on any one else.bcoz we all know that without food we cant live and if we dont have any 1 to cook for us it would be difficult for us.hence better to learn cooking and make ur own food.

Hi. I gotta tell you, that's BS! Listed below are my reasoning for that statement: Growing up in an Southern Grandmothers home, always had some delicous food (I didn't always think so). However she forbade us from going into her kitchen while she was preparing a meal, and I do wish now that I had gotten some of the great dishes. Then my mom, also did not teach "us" (self, brother and sister) to cook. We did the "chores" but were NOT involved in any shape, fashion or form with actually cooking. This is also why I try to make sure that my boys know how to make atleast simple stuff. Here's the big thing though..just get in the kitchen and "try"..will it always be scrumptous..NO But eventually you will gain the self confidence it takes to make really fantastic meals, plus take out is not good for you. I now love to cook (not clean the kitchen however), and at various different times in the last 10-15 years have had many friends, neighbors or associates to my house. I just love the great times and the good food..it can't be beat.

Yes, sounds good, pretty cool choice. I don't love cooking. I don't know how. But of course, if I'll just try it, I may like it too. Cheers to you. Enjoy!

You can learn to cook, it is never too late. Just get a few cook books and try some new recipes. If you can't afford to buy some cook books, then look on the internet for recipe sites, I am sure there are thousands of them. Just try and experiment and you will see that you can cook. I couldn't eat at fast food store every day. It is not healthy to be eating all that fast food. Your mother doesn't have to teach you to cook, just try it and you can learn all by yourself. Good luck.

Yes, I love to cook, only when I have the time, and it is very quiet.. I like to take my time to cook without rushing. That way, the food will come out great..

I don't cook, but my huband does. I don't like to cook, he absolutely loves it. He loves to cook, and I love to eat, so we make a fantastic couple. He cooks to relax, and he cooks a lot of foods from around the world.

i think cooking is fun especially if you have complete set of utensils. i dont have my own kitchen yet and i dont want to mess up my mom's. i can cook but i dont cook that much and my recipes doesn't have magic in it; nothing really special. i think there are really people who has a gift in cooking like my sister's husband. he's not a chef but there's really something about his recipes.

Female are always supposed to cook for their families and lucky that they are qualified to do this, in my view, it's indispensable to be a good cook for women, as they have the time to do this while their hubbies have to feed all the family members.Still, men have the responsibility to learn cooking for the reason of future nobody cook for you, and i think even though you are a novice, with time and patience, the leaf of the mulberry become satin. by the way, how many kinds of food can you cook till now?

I like cooking very much, and I may be infatuated with cooking. I start my cooking 3 years ago, at the begging, I also bought a cook book, then did what it said. But I don't think it's a good way to learn the skills and sometimes it may reduce your interest in cooking. Best of all is to find a good cook to teach u the basic skills about cooking, then practise it till u have someting opinions from urself. ps,u'd better find someone who like cooking very much, that may bring u a huge help:)
