The stars and number in the stars

Congrats on hitting 100 it's a great feeling isn't it? Dont worry about the number in the star because you are such a great person and you are very kind hearted if someone doesnt like you they are crraazzzzyyyyy! I look forward to reading your posts.

Well thats your rating. Congratulations. A red star with a nine on it means you are doing excellent on my lot. A blue star with a ten means you are the best on my lot. For a start a red star is a good achievement. Even i have a red star with a nine on it ~pinks~

To start out with a 9 is a very good accomplishment. You should be very proud. At this rate, you will probably be a 10 in no time. I only had a 5 when I made 100 posts and I still haven't a clue why my number is so low. I really stressed about it for about a week and then decided that I would just continue to try and do my best, add friends and not worry about it. Good luck, enjoy MyLot and have a great day.

your star and the number inside star denotes rating.....if mylotters give you lots of +ve then your star rating increases and if they give you lots of -ve then your rating decreases....it depends on your queality posts and your activities on the site...

congrats my friend. you reached the minimum post that you can now see star on your name. you have a good record because of the star and the number you have now. some members here got number 5 or 6 when they made 100 post. meaning your comments was highly rated by the members here and also your discussions that caught the interest of the mylotters. keep up the good work. earn more and post more. happy mylotting.

If you have a 9 rating after only 100 posts then you are most definitely doing something right. Just continue posting and commenting the way you have been and you will have a 10 star in no time....congrats on the 9, it really is a very good accomplishment

Hi Margie! I'm a bit late responding here, sorry. Firstly, congratulations on making 100 posts and getting your star with a 9 in it - you are doing really well. The more plusses you get on your discussions, your rating increases, but you have no need to worry, you do some great posts, and you will soon be a 10!

Its not a ten because some people must have hit negative on you. Or maybe one person hit a negative or two on you. It happens. You can do everything right and end up with a 9 and not a 10. Or an 8...or a 7 or a 6...or a 5 or 4... If anything the star system is a total scam. Go read the FAQ about it and it'll talk about 'quality'. Then go look at what some people post in terms of responses and discussions...

There is no way to find out why or how to make it a ten. All I can say to you is to just keep posting and don't worry too much about your star. I used to really care about it and I used to be so proud of myself when I had a ten star with a 99/100 rating in it, but it doesn't help you or do anything for you, with your earnings. My star has changed so much in the first 6 months I worked the site. It dropped as low as a 7 with a 59/100 and gone back up, slowly to a 99/100 and now it is down to a 8 star with a 80/100 rating in it, and has stayed there now for two months. It never changes anymore. It hasn't gone up or down for so long I don't understand it. And I am not going to worry about it anymore or try to figure out why or whatever. It just isn't important anymore, to me.

the other users rate you either positive or negative. and you probably are doing nothing wrong. I have been to ten and back to nine then up to ten and now back down to nine and all because there is some trigger happy posters who do not like one of my responses and gave it a minus. this is against mylots rules as you are not to hit minus simply because you disagree with another user only if you think the person has made an insulting remark or has been name calling.

I am not sure, (I am new also), but hope that you find out why.. I am sure that if you emailed Mylot, they would let you know.. I am learning as I go and haven't really had the time to do all that I want to do on here, but as soon as time permits, I will be catching up.. I will be watching the responses and maybe find out so that when I reach 100, I will know what is going on.. Good Luck

Congrats Marg! I know how i felt when i got mine last week and it was a 9..i was so happy since it means I did great for being here a week and now i'm at 240. You are doing great and keep doing exactly what you are since it got you to this point..and maybe soon we both will be 10's !!!

Be happy that you got a 9 the first time! I know you are but gosh, most of us don't get that high up the first time and it takes months and months to get that ten star. Just keep doing what you're doing and you'll have a ten star in no time!
