Do you get to sleep in on Saturdays?

I do. My husband is home on Saturdays so he isn't making any noise getting ready for work, he also shuts the bedroom door so the kids don't wake me up (leaves it open so I can hear them during the week) and I sleep better because I don't have to have one ear open since he is home. I only sleep in for about an extra hour but it sure is nice!
How about you?

I don't usually get to as my children seem to DEMAND my attention regardless of who is home or who isn't. Haha. Sometimes though, my husband is actually awake (this doesn't happen often) and I get to sleep in for an extra hour myself. It's lovely. I don't have a care in the world. Even if I can't exactly sleep in, I will stay in bed and tune the kids out while I just lay there and relax. MMM... Sleep. I think I will go catch up on some of that now!

I wish I did, but not really, my mother and I do not actually get to sleep in very much.

Good thing I dont have kids of my own because I can imagine me waking up early every weekend because of they would be running around the house and nagging on you to do something with them. But for me it doesnt matter what day of the week it is I dont get much sleep at all. I am even posting this at 3:14 a.m. and I am probably gonna have to wake up at 8 so in other words I rarely ever get a good nights sleep. :-(

Oh yes I can sleep til 9 or 10 am on Saturday and Sunday. That's when I catch up on my sleep. I am up at 7 am Mon - Fri.
Isn't it nice that our husbands do that for us? I love it.

One of the reasons why Saturday is my favorite day of the week is because i get to sleep more!!! I love it because i don't have to get up early to prepare for work, i love it because i have control of my time, i loved it because i can do whatever i want! Instead of waking up at 6AM, i get up at 9AM during Saturdays! :-) So that's just not an hour extension but 3 hours extension of sleep! lol.

ha sleep in? whats that? i am always the first one up seems like on weekends i get up even earlier. i have no idea why but i do. morning is my time, the only time i get to myself. i get up and get on here normally then get my oldest up for school just about time to take him to the bus my youngest wakes up. just after i get back my middle son gets up and i start my cleaning. i get done with all that but my room and folding clothes at about lunch just when my husband is getting out of bed. i get lunch clean that up,make my bed and fold clothes. the baby goes down for a nap and i am either here or doing something with my middle so. then my oldest gets home and we do home work and i make supper. eat clean and get the kids in the tub and ready for bed. by that time i am done for i couldn't stay up if i wanted to. so the only time i get to myself is in the morning and even if i could sleep in my hubby wouldn't get up with the kids.

For this summer, I really can't sleep on Saturdays since I have to work. Well, at the very least, I could get some nap after lunch. How I wish I didn't have to work on Saturdays so I could sleep on hours end.

Yes, I do get to sleep in on Saturdays. My husband will take the baby when she wakes up and feed her and play with her. I can sleep as late as I want on the weekends for the most part.
He even brings me breakfast sometimes.

I never really got to sleep in on Saturdays. For some reason my husband likes t leave his alarm on from his normal week of going to work. I just recently stopped doing that himself. Then we decided to get a puppy so that way when he's gone at work all the time I have some company with me. Now every morning we have to get up to feed her of course and makes sure she goes to the bathroom. I mean he normally does it, but he's not a quiet person, so I alway hear him get up out of bed. And then he likes to leave the light turned on. It bugs me but he never remembers. Oh well, I normally take naps during the day.

since we both work during the week and have to get the kids up for school and attend church on sunday, saturday is the real only day that we can sleep in. we sleep in until around 8 or 8:30 but dont get up til 9 and have a big breakfast (today it was pancakes).

You know its funny, because every weekend I think to myself "Oh, goodie, I get to sleep in" and yet every single weekend I am unable to sleep in, because I am so programmed to wake up early. Its kind of irritating sometimes.

I wish I could get extra sleep on Saturdays but my Saturdays are like any other weekday, just part of the big rat race out there.
If I didn't have to work on Saturdays I'd still wake up early if I know my boyfriend has his whole day off. Sometimes he is lucky and gets his whole Saturday off and some days he has to work half the day.
I would still have to wake early to cook sometimes and to clean up the house and stuff. Argh.
