I like your star! I know your work and know that you are a 10 star but, if you have gotten beaten down to a lower star, you are cool in my book! To be honest, I don't pay much attention to the stars. I liked mine at 10 but, if I get lowered because kids are having fun at my expense, I will take it as a compliment that I did something to get their attention! LOL!

I'm on a plus rating spree now that I know what it's all about!

Thank you lingli! And, I don't entirely care about my star! It is a nice little bonus as you know how appreciated you are but, if people are going to make the star that much more of a big deal than it deserves to be by screwing up our stars, than let's make more light out of the stars and have fun with our losses! It can't hurt to downplay the importance of it, right?

LOL! Thank you! I gave you a "+" too! I don't know who is doing it either but, I think the best way to combat it is to make fun of it and show them that it doesn't hurt us as much as we think. If we show we are upset about it, they win. Make fun of it and...who knows! Either they will get a laugh and realize it is meaningless and stop of, they will keep doing it to get more laughs! LOL!

Well 1's and 0's are the language of the matrix, everything else in between is just confusion! LOL So we'll be getting the last laugh in the end! You betcha! LOL

Thank you surfette! Same here! I will always give you "+"'s! And, that is really weird that your star fluctuated like that in one day. They only update them once a day. I think at the same time the update your earnings. So weird. My rep hasn't gone down anymore so, maybe all of our friends have been helpful in counteracting the troll or the glitch. Whatever it is! LOL! And, I am caring less and less about my star rating because, I realize that it is really the responses from others that matter! I thrive on my friends talking to me here and I also thrive on talking to them so, whatever happens with my star, I know what people think about me here! All of you move my day along in a very positive way! You make me laugh, think and sometimes cry! But, you always help my day in one way or another! You all even make me a better person. I hear ya! LOL! I have been out of high school way to long to put up with that crud! I just want to have fun with my friends here and goof around, share thoughts and opinions, help with some advice when asked and just kick around in here without kids messing things up! What is the point? Sheesh! LOL!

I think I am being stalked. My reputation stayed steady at 100/100 for quite some time. The only time it ever went down was once when I got into an argument with someone. I vowed never to do it again and didn't so, I am pretty sure that I didn't do or say anything anywhere that would tick someone off. So, my rep has gone down 1 point each over the past 2 days and, that tells me that I either ticked someone off...which I find really hard to believe, or a troll sniffed me out! LOL! Oh well! While I wouldn't mind keeping my rep at 100/100, if I have a troll on my tail, fine! So be it! I'll take it to a 1 star and have fun with it! White is the new Blue baby! LOL! And, that is stupid for someone to give you a negative for your beliefs. Who says we all have to think the same, act the same and be carbon copies of one another as far as our beliefs? I have no problem with you being Pagan! Be nice to me and I will be nice to you! That is the way to live! Screw with my star and I will only laugh at you, poke fun at you, and help everyone else poke fun at you while changing the way other people think about their stars so it doesn't sting so much when their star takes a dive! Don't know really. I have heard that it takes way less negative ratings to drop your star than positive ratings to raise it. But this was just MyLot scuttlebutt so it may not be true.

I wondered that but, can one "-" drop you one point? I thought it would take much more for that to happen. But, I don't know. Either way, there have been some noticeable drops in my friends' stars despite the fact that I give all of them and everyone else a "+" as I am sure others do too. So, I have to wonder if I was found. If not, I probably made a target out of myself! But, I don't care! I hate to see my friends having fun getting lower and lower stars without me! LOL!

You just gave me an idea! I believe active people should receive higher ratings anyway, so say someone is trying to troll you and purposely reduce your star. If you are an active contributing member, then their efforts in the negative would be combatted and balanced out and hardly affect you at all.

LOL! I agree gemini_rose! And, it is possible that I legitimately got 1 rep point taken away because I said something someone didn't agree with but, I doubt it. I think it takes a bit more negatives than one or two to even lower your rep 1 point so, I think they got a wiff of my tail and my drop is just the beginning! So, fine! Here I am. You found me behind my laptop and my work computer! Come and get me! You want to lower my friends' stars, lower mine too and I will stand proudly next to them with out low stars and low reps. It isn't a star or a number that makes who I am. It is my kindness, heart, compassion, humor, personality and my very humanity that makes me who I am and gives me the unflappable reputation in the minds of my friends here on myLot and in my Earthly world of friends and family. Hehe.. I don't even rate a discussion negative if I disagree with it, just because I don't agree doesn't make it a negative discussion. I do however rate individual responses negative once in awhile, such as if they include trollish comments, name calling, someone 'praying for my soul'.. stuff like that. More or less just inappropriate verbage for a public site. =P

I agree recycledgoth! I have decided to take my lowering star, down another point since yesterday, and laugh it off. It isn't as important to me as what all of you think about me. That is what matters to me. If you all hated me, I might be upset but, my lowering star, nope! I don't care anymore! LOL!
