I really feel bad about people who want to earn extra bucks at the expense of others..WORST, by cheating other people! C'mon, can we just earn without scamming others?! Many work-from-home companies are making false advertisements to trap prospective customers to buy their programs with all the promises of overflowing cash in the account, huge discounts, freebies and all those other malignant advertising schemes to fatten their bank accounts and drain the consumers of theirs.
When can ever these people think that what they're doing is very wrong...that it comes back to them sooner or later? Hey, this is just a temporary world we're living, don't yah forget that!
Just how and when can this be stopped?!

I know what you mean about being scammed. It is too back that people are out to hurt others. I did have my ID stolen one tome and the person opened up 9 credit cards in my name and got 2 payday loans as well. You know the funny thing about it is that I can't even get a credit card and I have not worked in over 7 years. As fast as the law finds and shuts down these sites "people" 10 more pop up. I now do a whois on every site that I am thinking about signing up with. If it has not been around for a while then I just pass it up. I don't jump on the newest thing any more.

Well yeah, but you also have to keep in mind. Thing's like this go on in the real world without the use of the internet. It's just so popular on the internet now as people are more susceptible to hand out personal information, payments to different programs, and etc as long as they don't actually feel the money in their hand.
I hope that makes sense! lol =P
and p.s. sorry if you meant in general scamming, this seemed more like you talking about internet scams =O

well, unfortunately we live in a sinful world... and as long as we are still living in this world, there will be good and bad people out there... we just can't avoid it... all we can do is to just be smarter and protect ourselves so that we won't be scammed by those people... i am sorry... but there is nothing more that we can really do especially on the internet... take care and have a nice day...

Yeah those scammers belong in jail. Even if they are making money, it's not sustainable. They really should be thinking of their long-term viability.
Definitely it comes back to them sooner or later.

I have to agree with you, I am beginning to open my eyes bigger and bigger very day. I heard there is a lot of scammers out there, maybe I myself have fallen prey to some of them. I canelled one as late as yesterday, all am doing is paying out, and am not gaining any thing and after rethinking, I decided to cancel, and I have a few more I may do the same with.
It seems like am not gaining anything but paying out.I am one of those people who think long and hard prior to making my final decision.

I go with the old saying, if it sound too good to be true, it probably is. There will always be scammers on the net. If people would take as much time trying to think up legitimate programs as they take trying to scam people, everyone would make money. Probably not millions overnight, but at least they wouldn't be loosing their rent or bill money either.

I don't think there will ever be a stop to it completely. All we can do is warn others when we are scammed...but some will listen, and some will not. I know I have been scammed a few times myself, and have learned to listen and do as much research as I can before I invest in any money making program on the Internet. I don't know how these people sleep at night...It's pretty much robbery what they are committing...

I am not sure that it can be stopped. After all, there are a lot of people willing to scam others for their pay. The best thing we can do is stand up and say no. This is a personal stance, but for each of us that does it, there is a chance we can make a difference. I hate the different programs out there that scam others and there seem to be more and more of them. But, there are too many willing to do anything to make money.

It is a shame there are so many scams out there. I KNOW there must be legitimate work-at-home opportunities out there; however it is so time-consuming to find them, it doesn't seem worth it. I would love to work at home, more for my own convenience than anything else, but I know there are those out there who have small children, or are disabled, or have other time or ability restrictions, for whom working at home may be the one sort of job that they are able to do and fits their needs. These are also probably the people who are least able to afford getting ripped off.
These companies do not care if they are ripping anyone off, not much different though, than your average company that will lay off 1,000 workers at the drop of a hat. Everyone is out to make money and to heck with the people.
I think it is too risky to "invest" money in any work-at-home scheme. I truly believe none of them are legitimate. At best what you will get is information you could find yourself. If people would just stop falling for these scams, that is the only way they can be stopped. Otherwise, even if one gets shut down, another will pop up instantly.
