parents stabbing children? what are we coming to?

I'm always totally amazed at any parent that can harm their child unless there is a legitimate mental issue at hand, and then I think they should be put in an institution for life.

I have no idea. I guess some of them get tired of not being able to provide for their children. I think alot of them kill their children because they just cannot deal with them anymore. some people kill their children just because they are sick in the head themselves. This world is so sickening these. I am so scared of what the future holds for all of us people who try to live right. I think the law stinks and they should lock the parents away without a translator.

There are scriptures prophesying this. Our world is just becoming too wicked. It doesn't have anything to do with language. It is because of evil people.

I heard today that the father had been released and the mother has been charged under the mental health act. There is no excuse for what she has committed, however where were the authorities who surely knew this woman had mental health issues? My mother suffers from mental health issues and to be honest they really do not know what they are doing.. they think they are right to do these things, my mother thought I was possessed by the devil! I've talked to her about her problems now she is currently well and she explained that she believed it at the time. Unfortunately mental health is a grey area and since the government closed all the institutes and promoted 'care in the community' then they have let some very poorly people out into the streets who are a danger not only to themselves but to others. I think it's more like what on earth to the government and authorities think they are doing letting these people walk unnoticed and untreated amongst us!

I they are animals not human being. What kind of parents are they. I can't imagine.

Those kind of people make me so mad. Yes my kids drive me crazy sometimes but I would never want to hurt them. I don't know what drives parents to hurt their kids and thats very sad about the baby what could a baby have done to those people. Times like that I wish they could still do things to people like that what they have done to the person they hurt. Like rapist should get their privates cut off they wouldn't do it again and theifs their fingers they wouldn't be able to steal anything anymore. Not sure what the punishment would be for stabbing a child but they should suffer as they made those kids suffer.

that is really awful... i don't know what is happening as well to this world... parents stabbing their own child??? i can't understand that... what's the point of having a child if you are going to kill him/her??? that is really awful... i hope the parents will be punished accordingly for their actions... take care and have a nice day...

its tragic,it really is,i cant imagine hurting my kids and ive had mental health issues,i would kill or die to protect my babies,however i dont know what happens in other peoples brains.if i was at the end of my teather with my kids it would never cross my mind to hurt them.your life is your own and if you want to kill yourself,go ahead but dont take people with you,others lifes arent ours to take,we own only our own.

What goes on to make parents want to kill their own children, never mind actually do it No doubt! Let alone a 6 MONTH OLD!! thats beyond disturbing...in fact I dont even have words for it its just SO sick ya know...And like you I'm very good at mentally going there when I read true crime BUT never in my wildest coudl I EVER put myself in the mindset of a child murderer ESPECIALLY when its the parent of that murdered child ya know..My kids can drive me batty at times but there is NO WAY IN HELL I coudl ever harm them let alone kill them..thats crazy madness..

Actually it is unbelivable.But i also read a report that an indian couple abandoned there twins because ithey were girls.This unfortunate & shamful things occur & specilly here in India due to the need of male .I don't think such acts can be justified.Our society has many such shameful practices which needs to be ended.But it is really difficult.

Hi ESKARENA1, It is very difficult for us to understand the way others think, especially if they were raised in a different culture. Like you I cannot comprehend parents killing their own children, but it happens everywhere, and believe it or not these people usually try to justify what they do. Sometimes I wonder if crimes like this have really increased, or are we just hearing about more. The Police may have reasons for not releasing the names immediately, but I do know that all children are equally valuable. While we don't understand people like this, we do know that they have always been around. Blessings.

You know, children are stressful. Especially babies. And stress can make a person do or consider doing things that they would never normally do. Especially if you're stressed as it is. Money problems. Marital problems. Sleep deprivation. All these factors can contribute to poor decision making. Sometimes the combination of things is just too much for some people to handle.

I was reading The Mail news paper and it said the mother was handcuffed and led away and the father was outside talking on the phone and he was not handcuffed but he went in a police car? It is very strange but it seems they where in trouble with there buisiness. I couldnt imagine how those medics felt finding those poor little souls. Which ever parent did this they should be hanged, I believe hanging should be brought back to the UK. They will plead insane to get away without life sentence, that will be terrible.

oh God,,,poor children,,they should not have the children if they cannot take good care of them...i cannot believe there are such perants.
