Do you just hate seeing people with saggy pants? or pants that fall below their waist and you see their undershorts? Well, if you live in Flint, Michigan you can now be fined for indecent exposure! I think this is hilarious! http://www.wnem.com/news/16725020/detail.html

I am glad to hear that!! We have a lot of that happening in the area where we live. It used to be bad at the school where my son goes but they have had a different principal for the last three years and things have really gotten better since she arrived. The dress code has gotten stricter is one of the things she has done. If someone should get arrested for indecent exposure around here maybe it would teach them a well deserved lesson and their parents too for letting them get away with it. I didn't mean to rant but that is a pet peeve with me. Thanks for listening!!

I wish they would have that law in Florida. I'm sorry but I get so tired of seeing guys wear their pants so far down that you can see their undies. I say either get pants that fit or get a belt, but pull up your pants. lol

That is pretty funny. I sure think they are wasting money making too many silly laws. I agree, I don't like to see them, but the government is too involved in our lives already.

Well, won't that police force be busy?!? I hate seeing kids dress like that, especially when they have to hold up their pants with one hand in order to walk! I heard one police officer say he'd like to see more criminals wear their pants that low, because they are easier to catch with their pants falling down!

I hate this style of sagging pants too! Glad someone is taking action against the saggy pants. I don't get it why they think it is so cool to wear oversize pants that even with a belt they have the underwear still showing. Some have a belt and still have to walk holding their pants up with one hand or walk with their legs spread apart to keep their pants from falling down. I just think this style of wearing pants is distasteful.

My husband is a manager of a convenience store. He had told me a week or so ago about a kid who was trying to walk across the parking lot. He was walking with his legs spread really wide trying to hold up his pants. Hubby said it actually looked like a toddler trying to walk with a load in his diaper. He got a big kick out of watching him.

Yes I do hate seeing them. I think they are ugly and very unflattering. The wearer's legs, look like twigs and appears to be so poor they have to wear castoffs from an obese person. Then they make the wearers feet look like giant boats at the end of the twiggy legs. My grandson wore them once, but only once, when visiting me. I told him just how he looked and never to wear them again while visiting me.

GRRRR. I hate those. I wonder how this would work in court? So many times I have to supress the urge to tug on them so they would fall down. I can't wait for this fashion "statement" to go away. Maybe fining the wearers would help? We shall see.

At the local high schools around here they send the guys who wear their pants like that to the office to get a zip tie and tie their pants up. If they are caught with the taking the tie off they are send home for disobeying the dress code. I think this is only right.

I think sagging of the pants is terrible. Im a young adult and cant stand to see my peers do it. I think the time and effort it takes to put on a belt and pants that fit is worth it

Well, what I am wondering is how can they fine someone doing this, and put them in jail? How are they going to catch someone doing this? What if they are only 12, 13, 15? Then what? Yes, I hate the sight of people wearing their pants like this, and wonder how they can ever run without tripping if they needed too, but I think this might be going overboard a little. Just my thoughts.

hi estherlou! well not really, if it the looseness is not so much. but when the underpants are showing already, it kinda turns me off. i dunno i am just probably old and conservative and could not understand changing trends. anyway, i am just learning to live and let live especially regarding the clothing of people. i don't want to be judgmental about them. well, i guess i just say that is their preference. hehehe but if i am the one washing those baggy pants, i think i will surrender in terms of buying soap and washing and drying and ironing. lol good day and God bless!

saggy pants - Hope the Flint police can do something about this
I don't like to see them at all but I don't see how the police in flint are going to get by with enforcing the new law. some one will go to court over it and they will find that it isn't constitutional. I don't mind if the pant can sit on the hips and not fall down if the wearer is running or has to keep pulling them up with every other step.

No problem to me! LOL! But if someone gets the urge to grab on and yank them down..not MY embarrassment to suffer!
