How much spam do you get each day?

I have a hotmail account where I refuse to delete the junk mail. I now have over 5000 unread msgs, all junk. Too lazy to delete. On my main account though I go through and delet junk mail and unsubscribe from news letters that i signed up to by mistake. Recently im gettin loads of phising emails or scam emails saying i've won money. whoopie...money now where did i leave my bank details for these guys lol

I'm so sorry for coming in so late. I also get lot of spam daily. Earlier, I used to get more than 100 such mails per day. But of late I've updated my spam filters and unsubscribed from lot of sites to reduce this number.

I easily get hundreds. I've had my own domain for years, so they come to every possible address - I also get tons of bounce messages from spammers using my email address in their "reply to" field. I think I'm actually going to pay for a spam service. It's gotten to the point that I'm losing real emails.

Well, when I get on daily the max amount would be 20. I actually get nearly 10 a day...and thats fine. Plus, my mail filter is working too good. I mean, I don't even have to take a loot at the mails. I would hardly check the SPAM folder unless, I am waiting for an important mail! I don't remember a time when I would have recd. a mail that's not supposed to be in my INBOX...in other words, I haven't received a mail in which is a SPAM in my INBOX. ANyways, Happy Mylotting!

I lost count in my yahoo mail, but Gmail my goodness, I have no clue where those spam comes from and some have a kind of asian writing....I am more careful with deleting my yahoo spam because legit emails sometimes end up there, but Gmail does a good job with filtering legit emails from spam, so I don't have to worry about checking to see if I am deleting a legit email there

hi there,so far,today i got only 16 spam and sometimes more than that since i marked" spam" so try to mark it as " spam" it helps.

I get a lot of spam everyday,i guess its because of too many sites that i've joined to. Hahah well sometimes im reading them ( if the subject looks interesting ) but most of the times i will just delete them all. Happy mylotting!

I'm sure its around 100. I don't have where they show how many in the program that I use now. I use to use outlook express and it would tell you but I got tired of setting it up for everytime we restored our computer. I delete more then I read.

May be you would have long time before or otherwise could have signed up many surveys or did some gpt sites.. which inadvertently sells our mail ids to the third parties..and this is the root cause of the spam mails.. Getting 100 spams or so,.. surely it is quite annoying.. and i would think of switching to another mail id.. Take care friend and by the way how are your Kids? God bless them with a long life.

I normally get 20 to 30 spam messages a day, but that is just from one email account. If I add all my accounts up, that can number more than 100 a day. Strictly, I can't call all of them spam, because I give my email particulars to many internet opportunities and affiliate markets (in return for freebies sometimes) and as a result I end up getting lots of sales letters from them. I must be very rich, because everybody seems to want me to contribute money to them to buy their products. What I have noticed these past months is the big increase in scam emails about unclaimed inheritances, bank drafts waiting to be collected, remittances due to me, lotteries I've struck, email prizes I've won and verifications of accounts I don't own. I only used to get them occasionally, but these days, they come in daily and from different addressees. The worst thing is I can't stop them. Even though I report them as scam emails, they keep coming in but under different addressees. I think the only way I can cut them off is terminate the current email accounts and start new ones, but that will be troublesome for me.

I get about the same or more. I have no idea where this stuff comes from. I never open it, though cause ya never know what's in there. A freind of mine opened one of hers that said someone had an e-card waiting for her and it turned out to be a virus. So I never open mine, I just delete them.

I get about 20 spam mails every day. My email account will send most of them to my junk email filter, but a lot of them still escape undetected, and its those ones which really annoy me majorly! I think spam companies need to be DELETED!! ASAP.

:) i get about 30 a day on each mail account. i got 3. i just flag them and delete. i'm sure next there'll be a hundred more...that's life...spammers

About 400 to 600 a day but mostly on a very old email address that I hardly use so I just glance thought them to see if there is any real messages that have sneaked in and get rid of the lot

I also receive many spams. I remembered I register a employ site with my mail and then I receive spams about training everyday.I am boring it.So as you did,i often delete them directly.

I do receive spams too about between 20-30 or more on some occasions. Yes, they are driving me nuts I just wonder why do they keeping sending these spams to people? It is so irritating that when you open up your mail thinking that they are from friends you'll find that they are all spams. I hope that there is some way that we can put an end to these.

about 2 to 4 spam emails a day... My previous email account (yahoo) receives 50 spam emails a day...I get exasperated whenever i see annoying emails from persons whom i don't know... Argggghhh! I am fed up with those things that's why i tranferred to a better email account...

hi, i get around 5 spams a day. i check my mails daily and i can find that some of the mails which i have been waiting for usually comes in the spam folder. then i move it to the inbox. this is one reason why i check up my mails daily. i am afraid that some of the important mails may get deleted in the spam folder before i could have a look at it.

Yeah I am also having same problem every day I open my mail box there are atleast 40 new mails I am tired of them. I think spam mails are recieved more common in yahoo.
