Do You Ever Wish You Could Type Faster?

I am sure there are many of us in here who have wished that. Especially when time is limited to the amount of time you have in here to post back or start a New discussion. I know for me, a lot of it can be the amount of time it takes for a page to load in here as well. But I know there are times when I might only have one hr. left until the cut off time for pay, and wanting to get like at least 10 discussions responded back too, and these are the times for some reason, I find myself making a lot of mistakes, and cannot type like I wish as well. Maybe it could be the pressure of the day almost being over as well? When this site is so SLOW, I wonder what those of you on Dialup must be experiencing as well. I cannot imagine how horrible it must be for you. It must be awful for sure. Or do you have a set routine to make it go faster in here as well? Let me hear some of your thoughts. ~~TINA~~

I just am tired and make mistakes because I am trying to get trained on a once a month part time job. It is the pits, nothing works right for me.I find that I type much better than I used to. I have made payout, so I am not worrying too much. I would rather have more money. I am glad there are a few more days left. I am having a problem with slow loading myself today. I think I need to de frag or something.

All the time!!! I once had a typing test when I was applying for a job and think I managed a typing speed of about 36 words a minute which isn't too great when compared to what is qualified as good nowadays. Allways wonder how much time I could save by being able to type faster.

Hahahahahahahaha Good question. An ironic question, but a good question. I can type aproximately 100 words a minute, and I taught myself how to do it. when I was in school I learned the kayout of the keyboard, and how to type. Everything else I taught myself. In grade 12 I took a typing course just for the easy credit.

I do! I mean I can type pretty fast but I would just love to be able to type even faster and then I could get a lot more done, especially seeing as I now have less time to spend on here. We have unlimited broadband so that luckily is not a problem but it is just the time I have that holds me up.

I don't have the problem of typing slow. I wish the keyboard would keep up with me sometimes tho. LOL. A lot of times I have to stop and wait for the letters to catch up with what I'm typing. Because of that, I sometimes spell things wrong and have to go back and change it.

When I am typing out responses and such, I tend to let my mind take over and do the work for me. I see myself making mistakes as I make them and I immediately correct them. However, I do not think I could type any faster if I wanted to. I aldready type pretty fast, even when I find myself lagging, i am still typing as fast as is possible. All I do is not worry about it so much and the rest seems to follow. I think sometimes I might be capable of doing more but then I look at how fast my hands are already moving and I realize I can't really go any faster. I would love to be able to respond faster and get more discussions done but I dont think it is possible.

I'm a pretty slow typist, and not especially accurate, either, but it doesn't bother me on Mylot. When I'm writing an article, it does slow me down. I wish I could improve with practice, but my coordination just isn't that good, so practice doesn't always help. I'm glad I have cable internet now because when I was on dialup, Mylot was really a pain.

I can type rather quick, at least i think its quick about 65wpm, and im good with that. My nieces and nephews see me on the computer and are always commenting on how fast i type compared to them. However, i do spend quite a few keystrokes hitting backspace..lol. So i dont wish to type faster, just more accurately.

i use to be very slow in typing and i use to take more time but from the time i am doing mylotting i feel my typing speed is been improved a little and i feel really happy and i think everytime we need to be exposed to any work we want to do it and hence we can reach our goals faster. before doing mylotting i dont have type anything except the mails and i use to take more time and as i am exposed to mylot i need to type and i am improving a little. and one thing as you tell even i feel that sometimes that i should type more faster as i need to do more and i want to increase my earnings and reach the payout and i need to withdraw for the month and i can do futher more next month. if we get paid for the month i feel happy and i think like me all of us hear will feel happy and i think this is an inspiration for all of us to do more at mylot.

I never thought of such thing. My typing is really fast but i really wish to think faster than what i can type. Ususally I think a little longer but the typing is fast, this is more than enough for me to work on this kind of websites.

Speed for me isn't the problem. I worked as a secretary for years an anyone who has worked with me will tell you that speed is not my issue. But now you want to talk accuracy I think I am in the flunkie catergory. Sometimes you worry too much about speed (guilty) and it hurts you in your accuracy. But I will tell you that practice, practice, practice will develop the speed but keep an eye on that accuracy! I rechecked this one just to be sure! LOL Lost a few seconds but at least you can read it!

It's interesting that you would say that about posting on MyLot, because having to hit the mouse for things makes me feel like a slow typist, but when I type fast with other things, the mouse slows me down. Not only the mouse, but having to read through the posts and see what I want to say. I have a Broadband connection, so I'm not worried about the slow speed.

I have a Broadband DSL connecion so loading is as such not a problem. its speed gets slow very rarely. But my typing is very slow, though I type a lot on keyboard but still am unable to catch fast speed. This is the reason I've not kept any deadlines to respond to the discussions hence my earning is also slow....never mind I still love responding to the discussions of my friends and at times start with a new one.Happy lotting!

Hmmm. I do okay with typing. The last time I was tested I typed 85 words per minute, and that's enough for me. And I don't have any problem with the pages loading slowly. I've never timed myself about how many discussions I can respond to in an hour. Might be an interesting exercise.
