Do you see humans as higher form of beings or an animal that is part of nature?

For me, I see humans as part of nature and as really complex living organisms. WHy? because our minds might not be exhibiting wild or animal nature or instincts but the cells of our bodies do. one of the prime example of our animal nature is organ transplants. As human beings, we can think or our mind can think of organ transplants as something that can benefit our body but why does our body reject and kill the transplanted organ? because they think it is foreign and a threat, much like the reaction of red ants if black ants somehow got lost in the red ants mound.

I think we're just part of nature. How do you know the insects or the animals cannot think? They might have smaller brains but they might have other things which we don't have. For example, when the rain is coming, the ants will start migrating even before the first drop of rain arrives. And how can the elephants find their way to the graveyard whenever they know it's time for them to die? All these things cannot be explained. We might be able to build, create, think and others, but there are things that other living creatures on Earth can do which we cannot.

Of course but being comparing them they are limited to their own abilities. We as human being we were able to go beyond what is given. We were not given wings but we were able to make planes for us to fly. We were not given extraordinary hearing ability to transmit our thoughts to others but we were able to build telephones to reach the farthest parts of the world. We were created to think outside of the box.

Interesting discussion. I, myself, have wondered the same thing before. When I really think about it, I am disgusted about how humans treat the rest of nature. We've scarred almost every place we lived, and caused extinctions of a fair number of animals. But I have never been sure if this was a natural part of nature or if we really wandered too far from the protective boundaries that have already been set up for us. Perhaps we are saying that we are superior to all other beings. Perhaps we are simply living the way that will benefit us the most. Who knows? If an advanced civilization were to suddenly invade Earth and wage a war of total extermination, would you say that it would be unfair? But remember, humans have exterminated the Dodo bird and the Sabretooth tiger. Weren't those acts equally unfair? Basically, I do believe (to some degree) that humans are seen as higher forms among themselves.

Yeah I guess there is some truth to what you are saying. But being in that state I guess we should also be responsible in taking care of it. I think that is the main purpose why we were given this gift.

I think that we are very intelligent animals if that makes any sense! We originated from monkeys, then we turned into these Neandethals, you know, the chaps with the huge eyebrows, flat nose and very long hair! Now, we have become civilised! We just keep on growing and changing! Who knows what metamorphosis we will go through next! Andrew

basically, we are part of nature cause we inhabited it. however, we are part of the higher form of beings cause we are able to think more logical compared to other animals. we are part of nature cause we also interacts with animals, we take care of them and make them as pets.. and so on..

humans are just part of nature. And all the stuff we do are all part of nature. We invent and discover because that is human nature. We are probably the highest in the animal kingdom but we are still just one small part of the world

We are all equal in the aspect of organs and structure of body. We are no different from the animals. We are made from meat, and we can be eaten by other animals such as tigers and crocodiles. We breathe air, animals breathe air too. We drink water, and animals drink water as well. We mate and animals do the same. However we are put into a higher form of beings because we have intelligence. With the intelligence we can do many things which animals are not capable of. We created speech, education system, etiquette, social life, family institution and every single thing which brings benefit to our lives and gives comfort in our lives. Animals still sit in the same position from previous time until present time. Until now they haven't achieved anything because they are created without any needs for achievement. So personally I think human beings are the same in body structure but we differ in our intelligence.

Well scientifically speaking we are just plain animal but looking beyond that we are a higher form of beings as we were given complex ability to do beyond what other animals are capable of doing. We were made in such a way we have intelligence that surpasses any normal beings here on earth. We go beyond the limits of what an animal can do in his own nature and try to explore things beyon the comprehension of any other lower beings like that of an ant or elephant perhaps. They may posses some kind of intelligence like ours but if you still compare the two human intelligence far exceeds them that is why I consider myself a much more higher form of living creature here on earth.

Weird analogy there, but yeah, we are both of that. We are part of nature, but we are a more complex forms of beings in the sense that we developed so much we can think and invent stuffs.

We are here to praise and spread the word and name of The Almighty God, which makes us a higher form of being! Mere animals can't do that! We are also supposed to tend to the animals and populate the earth! Taripre$
