I found a way how your earnings will not be deducted

I have found a way how your mylot earnings will not be deducted. I have quite a lot of emails notifications to answer to here on mylot. Some date back to 11 th November 2008. I am still 800 posts from my friends lists behind. When I am clicking on the notification link I can see that some of them have been deleted by the administration. So I guess answering your friend's discussions after quite some time saves your earnings from being deducted. What do you think about this? © ronaldinu 2008

The way I understand it, if the discussion is deleted, your earnings are gone, too, but eventually in the month they'll go through and adjust your earnings to reflect that you responded. Oh, who knows how it all works out. Just hope you don't get grandpa bob's troll who keeps reporting his discussions... I can't find the violation though;)

We must have the same friends! I was away from the 12th and I am noticing as I try and catch up with my notifiers that many are deleted too. MyLot has been busy! We are saving earnings and time too

Yeah this one time where I was located, my lot was blocked suddenly. I had almost 8$ and was edging to the payout 10$ but lost it all before it could be unblocked again!Going up again slowly from a dollar fifty!

Gosh what a lot of queries! There is no time space (but if you are inactive for 90 days you will lose your earnings). You earn for all your activities all over myLot, on your own discussions and other user discussions. Just participate as much as you like with quality posts and most important HAVE FUN!

Hello! I just joined yesterday and have no idea what I am doing! Is there a time frame that you have to answer? I currently have 9 items in MyLot right now, are those only for me to answer or do other reps have the chance to answer. Do you get paid for answering if they have already been answered? Are there certain topics that you are paid more for answering? How do you expand outside of the MyLot topics that show in my box? Any info. you can share will be GREATLY appreciated! Have a GREAT day!

I don't see what you mean. You only get earnings deducted if you either make a discussion or reply to a discussion that goes against Mylot TOS rules and gets deleted. It has nothing to do with friends/emails/time scale. If your post is deleted your earnings drop - simple as that.

Oh I get what you mean now though it is a bit obvious. Why respond to discussions that you know will get deleted? If you see one that goes against the TOS then don't contribute at any time - now or later.

msdainait has understood me perfectly. If you don't respond to a deleted discussion, you earnings wont be deducted.

I have no idea of how your earnings get deducted on here, or how to keep them from being deducted, I just assume that if you go by the rules on here, you'll be safe.

I am behind on answering emails from my friends as well. But just because you answer them late does not mean they will not get deleted. It only means noone has reported them yet. Or MyLot has not gone through there sweep of deleting discussions they feel voilates the guidelines. But I do like your way of thinking.

That's a good way to catch discussions that are not deleted. However, I do not like my emails piling up, so i would more than likely answer them as quickly as they come in. And congrats on making 5000

Well that is probably since those discussions have been here a while they have already been considered safe and valid so there is less risk of them being deleted. They have likely already passed all the standards, so they are a safe bet for responding.

To me it is good to answer friends discussions even if it is eventually deleted. This to me is showing support.

Well, that's true, answering discussions that were started awhile ago is safe since it's obvious that because they're still there, they most likely won't be deleted. I have quite a few older discussions I haven't gotten to myself. I just get too many each day! But, sometimes I really like the discussions that have just been posted and answer them, taking my chances on it being deleted somewhere down the road. Usually, I stay away from discussions that are questionable as to myLots rules and regulations. I'm even questioning this one in my own mind since it's discussing myLot's payments. I see nothing wrong with it since, obviously, I'm answer it. LOL But, myLot might think differently. I hope not!

Hi ronaldinu, That is a good idea, but I normally clear all my e-mail box and then go onto my page and respond to other mylotters, but it still don't help that much. Tamara

Hi ya ronaldinu That would work!! I was thinking that if you left it so long then someone else might get the BR that you could have got but then if the discussion has already been deleted then no one would have the BR and personally I am not too bothered about BR's though it is nice to get them! Now I know why there is a delay in you responding to my discussions now and why you forget that you have already responded to it LOL

I have noticed this when I have been away from Mylot for some time and the notifications are piling up, when I start to go through them some have been removed due to some violation and most of the time it would have been a discussion I would have truthfully responded too, whereas it's a shame that the friend has had their discussion removed, but it also a great time saver, so I do agree it is a good idea, because you can never tell what discussions are going to get deleted even if they do follow the criteria!

Welcome back wolfie to mylot. I am tring to repsond discussions which a re a few day sold. Thus it saves me time from answering to discussions that will be eventually deleted.

I don't think that's entirely beneficial. If you respond many discussions and you get the payout from myLot before they are deleted by the admin, the earning won't be deducted anymore. So if you respond later, you may find some discussions already deleted, and because you can't respond them anymore, you lose the earning. If you do respond, get payout and they are deleted afterwards, nothing will be lost (or at least that's what I think).

Well my earnings haven't been deducted, they are just missing. I've been away for some time and when I got back my Earnings total was zero. Lost $1.65 but that's no big deal, because I assume that when you're inactive you lose your earnings.

Jimeous when you are inactive for a long time your earnings gets deducted yes.

Oh, thanks for posting it, I really don't know that mylot deducts earnings. So far I haven't been deducted yet but would be better be careful so I won't be deducted, maybe I need to follow the rules in here, actually I haven't read the rules yet. So I better read it then before I get deducted but I won't mind being deducted if only it was my fault anyway. Happy mylotting.

I suspect the deletions come fairly fast. I too have noticed this phenomena when trying to reply to a topic and wonder why it was even deleted. I try to spot the ones whose subject matter is against the rules so I do not get branded as one who violates the rules or gets involved in subjects that do so. I think myLot earnings discussions are deleted so I would not besurprised that this thread will go too.

Read all the rules first so your posts do not get deleted. Avoid controversial subjects up to a point because if they delete the whole thread, it is as if you violated the rules and you will lose. Post at least four lines in your answers and give quality posts. Post, post and more post as quantity is as important as quality. Post photos if you can. Welcome to myLot.
