Have you ever dreamed of quiting your real job for an online job. One that don't require you work 40+ hours every week just to get a decent pay check. I have but unfortunatly I am at this time not able to. If you have been able to live out that dream please tell us how. I know there are lots of mylotters that would love to hear your secrets if you have any.

Takes money to live out this dream. There is no easy way to make money online with no money. In fact if you don't know what you are doing there is no way period. Most the ebooks and sites offering you knowledge to make good money online are true. They did make good money but they don't tell you they are selling you old knowledge. See if you get in on something in the begining there is a chance to make huge chunks of change but if you get in late your looking at pennies on the dollar.
I currently make a few bucks a day online but no matter waht I ever make I will never quit my real job. I think it is important to have a garenteed income. As far as the less than 40 hours a week I don't see that happening either. When I made $70k in one year just online it was very hard work. 12 to 14 hour days everyday.
Sorry to say there is no get rich quick program out there.
Take Care,

Oh I am not looking to get rich. I just honestly want more time with my children. They grow so fast. I am glad for my 40+hour job as well but like most I am always looking for bigger and better. Well good luck and maybe someday we can all be rich.

Honestly What I plan on doing once I get certified is to do photography on the side. I know it's not entirely 'online' but what I also do is I sell my prints online. I usually get orders over 100$ or more each person that buys my prints. THe point is to get your name out there for anything you choose to do. For me though I didn't have to 'shell' out any amount of money. I got a site for free (free hosting) took my camera and started taking photos. the only thing that cost me about anything was PHotoshop which was well worth it in the end.
If you live in a big town you'd be surprised how many people are looking for the crafting experience etc. I hope to do weddings on the weekend and rake in 2000 a week. that's right 2000 a week. which is generous cost to the customer. So for something that started out as a hobby could end up helping us put our unborn children to school.
Now if you get really good at something I'll still use photography. What I could always do if I didn't want to work is take up photography. If you got really good you'd have 3 days a week booked up for weddings. each at about 1000 per wedding. now if you think about it 3000 a week (again if you've come to semi master the skill) that's 12000 a month. Crazy to think of it that way. if you got into this you could end up having that time for your kids during the weeks and maybe even weekends by saying you only do 2 weddings a weekend then you still have that time with them. Then when they're at school you spend that time fixing up the photos.
Again this is an example of how a hobbie could turn into something in your favor.

Where did you sell your orints online Amanda? That sounds interesting. Can you share it to us please.;-) You seem to be doing good in photography with the load of bookings you got there. I love photography too but I still need to harness the skill.

Thank you I think it's a lot less stressful and may end up being something that I do in the near future. If it takes off and I notice I'm booked solid for a year then I may end up just going with that job. If I can be self employed and make 2 grand a weekend I'm happy as pie. And think of it this way you get paid right away none of this nonsense of it only being per month. That's why I'm going to wait for business to take off first before thinking about making any rash movements then I still know i have a steady income/job. However I could tough it out for a few years and just do both but I don't know. For me it's about the money (sounds bad) but I don't have kids yet and I'd love to be able to save up for my children and their future you know. I mean even doing just 2 weddings a weekend allows me to have 8000 a month basically which is more than what I make now lol. . Also know that I have a good chunk of change that will allow me to retire at a decent age and have enough in the bank to sustain our life while still doing photography. Take a peek at my profile if you like my photography website is on there. I'm just starting out though and will be getting an SLR for christmas from my family as I told them that's the only thing I want. That and accessories. It will help me out more than cloths. etc.
Many thanks for your kind words.

I know earning online is very hard because you can't find a real good earn at home site. I wouldn't want to quit my job for an online job. I am earning much on my current job to raise my 5 kids, pay bills and lessen our debts. Online earnings are just something additional to help me out with. I am open for it as a second job.

If I have my real job, definitely I will not quit just for online job unless that online job pays the same or more than what I earned from my real job. The problem with online job, your earning is not fixed. Online job is only an additional means to alleviate your economy. Just a matter of earning extra income. So, don't quit your job if you have one because online job earns penny than real job besides it takes for you to a long process to find that legitimate earning sites otherwise you will be trapped by scams. It will be a different story if you do really need to quit your real job because of some very valid reasons where you could no longer bear with it especially when it is already detrimental to your health or life. So, you will be forced to divert from online job while looking for another real job.

You are so right. I would never dream of quiting my Real job unless I made the same every week or more and it was a for sure thing. Regular payments or paychecks. I need money coming in at all times. I was just wondering if any one was able to do it.

i did that for awhile about 5 years ago and i made a decent wage (although my hubby was still working). i was writing and got $10- for 500 words and managed to crank out several articles a day, but now you are lucky to get a dollar for that amount of words.

For half a year now, I'm trying very hard to make money online, but I'm sorry to say, no money made.
I would love to hear from someone that really made something.
The photography seems a good idea, but then, you have to work in a big city where your work is needed. And have to have relations.
But, it is doable, why not...

I was actually fired from my job over a year ago, and I'm totally thankful, in a sense! I was tired of working 60 - 70 hr weeks and traveling all that distance to and from! I would leave around 6:30 in the morning and sometimes wouldn't get in til 10 or 11 pm! I worked 7 days a week most times and worked alone! When they let me go, I was happy and worried at the same time! I got to see my son much more often!
Now I work at home doing stuff I never thought I'd do, never heard of and can make anywhere from $25 to $200 per day, depending! I actually posted this as a site evaluation job on a freelance site!
Now if u or anyone truly want to earn money quickly, pm me and/or respond to this post and I'll get u going! I pay directly to Paypal upon completion. This is honest, and it's free! There is a small amount of money involved, under $5, but my pay doubles that! If u evaluate all 3 sites, I pay $35 directly to you to Paypal!
If interested, PM me and I'll get u started!

No never been able to. I had quit a job last year but that was because of personal reasons, but not because of real job online. I am still thinking what to do in order to have a real income online then if I can have a sufficient to live on I would quit my job. I am still trying to find a way how can I earn online that is enough to live on, I am amazed of how people make a lot of money online but they won't tell the secrets though!

I am not ready to quit my job unless the online job is guaranteed & is from a reputed company because you will never know when it is going to end you will be on streets. So I prefer to be careful. I am also been trying to make some money online a littel bit succeeded but most of them are scam just wasting time & so on. But expecting for the best.

I dont think online jobs are as reliable as real 8-9 hours job. And i could never quit my real job for an online one. it is way to risky to do that, what if your online work does not support you financially? Everybody shold think twice before making such a drastic decission

i quit my real job and decided to concentrate on my online work. I used to make a good amount of money with my online work but ever since the recession, the company has gone under :( I still get a lot of online work but i am now hoping to get a real day job to augment my earnings. i think during tough times like these, we should try to make as much as we can.

No way. I don't think anybody can only rely on online jobs. Most of the online jobs earn only 100 or even 200 dollars which is not enough to lead a good life. But i have read in some of the magazines that some are earning even 500 to 800 dollar by taking online tuitions. I am not much sure about this.

Bu wellit takes a very hard work to earn money online as you got to fiind the right online job. But guess a real jobs is much better hehe, it help you to get socialized and you dont hang out on the monitor all day.
