Well our computer network administrators have blocked all chatting programmes therefore I cannot not make use of Yahoo or MSN at my place of work during my free time. However some friends of mine told me to use another site meebo. I still can log on both of them through an online site. Did you know about meebo?

It's meebo.com, you can go to that website & you can log into the website to chat. Sometimes companies block these sites but especially at Net cafes OR if you're at a friend's house and don't want to install the messenger program you can loginto that website. It's pretty nice.

Hi there ronaldinu my friend. I love this site as well as it let's you acces your yahoo id (and others) even if you don't have the messenger installed and that makes it an asset especially for those nasty places where you aren't allowed to install software on the computer.

I found out about meebo a few weeks ago, from my sister. She's abroad on a scholarship and she's using a laptop on loan from the library, without having the liberty of visiting any site or using instant messaging. But as the Internet is full of opportunities, they elude the blockade and chat via meebo.
I never used meebo, but she did and it works just fine. I'm not sure if you can transfer files, and you can't save the discussions, but that's just collateral damage

No, sorry I have not heard of this site. If it's working for you then that is nice. You can also take a flash drive for the USB and do what writing you want to transfer it to the flash drive stick and then take it home and transfer the info to your account.

Yes, I knew about it already because it was featured in PC World as being recommended. I like to use it when I cannot install the program (or it's inconvient to do that like on a friend's or family's computer). It's a nice resource to use if at Internet Café, or if you're just not wanting to open your messenger program.
One thing is the website is meebo.com, well when our company did allow us to have access to the internet the website was blocked, so it didn't matter to us, but it was still nice feature. Have a nice day.

I have never heard of this site before but I will sujest another great one...well basically not just one but instead of listing them all I will just explain. Unless your admin at your place of work or school have blocked all of the following you should be able to get to any site that it blocked by your admins by going to a site like the following first and them type in the address you need to go to on the site. Please note that I believe that there is a site starting with a-z like the followings. so if one does not work try another. most admins do not block them all.
vtunnel.com
atunnel.com
ctunnel.com
I know for a fact that the vtunnel.com one works, but I still would not go to like bank sites and stuff like that thru the vtunnel.com site. I hope this helps...remember if you get caught it is not my fault :)

I have found out about meebo in my previous workplace, about 2 years ago. We weren't allowed to use any Yahoo or MSN messengers in the office. I saw one of my officemates use meebo.com so I tried it. Very good.

yes. i know it! you can use it to login different chat account like msn, yahoo messenger and other. it seems like all in one platform for those users who was blocked by the administrator. it's simple as you just have to open your brownser to login.
