Do you eat breakfast or do you go with out?

Okay, there are times that I don't feel like eating when I get up in the morning so I will skip breakfast then eat a nice sized lunch.
I know this isn't good for the body because it has burned off all of the food that we eat the night before. But, trying to force yourself to eat can also make you feel sick. Have you ever noticed that.
So are you a stickler and eat breakfast every day? Or do you go with out? Or do you eat breakfast once in a while.

I rarely eat breakfast. And on the rare occasions when I do it is usually a protien shake. I just can't seem to make myself eat in the morning. My stomach just can't handle it. Like you I know it is better for my health and my body if I eat something, even if it is small. It is one of my goals in the coming year to start forcing myself to get in the habit of eating breakfast. In my defense though, I do drink a big glass of 100% fruit juice every morning after my coffee.

The good thing is, you are at least getting essential vitamins that your body needs by drinking your shakes. Many of us don't I have to admit. Give me a cup of coffee and I'm off. Once in a while I might grab some juice as well. That is if I remember. I am terrible about it. I have gotten worse since I have opened my own business.

Same! I always (at least) eat a big bowl of cereal, normally Special K, or Coco Pops, depending on which is at the front of the cupboard, lol

That's great! I hope that one day I can do that. But, alas, by the time I am ready to eat I have been up since 3:30am and it is normally 10 or 11 in the morning. Hubby is pretty good about trying to get me to eat once in a while, although he knows I usually just grab that cup of coffee.

i never eat breakfast in the morning even though like yourself i know that i should but by the time i am up the kids are up washed, dressed and off to school, the housework is calling, eating is the last thing on my mind and before you know it it's lunch time, so i enjoy lunch at least.

I do eat breakfast every morning. It is the most important meal of the day. Even if I don't feel like eating I will eat something. A small bowl of oatmeal, or at the very least a yogurt. That is on the days I don't feel like eating breakfast. Most mornings I do feel like eating breakfast though. It might be just that I do so my body is used to breakfast. I would skip any meal but breakfast.

I try to stick to just my coffee milk for breakfast but sometimes I will eat a bowl or cereal or a pancake without any syrup. I can't go without or my stomach will make all the noise it can and I feel sick.

Sometimes I will be okay with a cup of coffee, usually if I don't have to go anywhere. Majority of the time I have to eat something shortly after I get up or I start to feel sick. My daughter is the same way. My oldest son however sometimes doesn't want to eat in the mornings.

It's weird but if I attempt to drink water in the morning, I feel sick sometimes. My body just can't stand it when I do that. Now, if I have a sip of coffee then drink some water, I'm all right.
My kids are teens and surprisingly unlike their friends, they think coffee is horrible.

Well lazeebee, sounds like you and I are pretty much in the same boat. However, I usually wait until I get to my shop to have my first cup of coffee. Since I opened up, I rarely use my coffee maker at home anymore. Guess that's what I get for opening a tea and coffee shop.

well it depends..if i am in a rush or woke up late..then i'll go to class with an empty stomach or just grab a piece of bread or some light snacks for breakfast. Otherwise on weekends or holidays or if i have plenty of time, i will get myself a hearty breakfast, 2 sausages, scramble eggs, 3 pieces of toast with butter and cheese (i am a number 1 cheese fan) and some milk or hot chocolate to go with it...doctors do recommend people to have breakfast in the morning though...

I have to eat breakfast everyday, no matter how early I wake up. Luckily for me, I don't feel sick in the mornings but I understand that some people might. I would advise having a breakfast which you enjoy eating, or keepin it simple e.g have fresh fruit to start the day with.
Not having any breakfast is bad, as it means that your metabolic rate slows down, and therefore you are burning energy less efficiently. As a result, when you do have a bigger lunch, the energy you are consuming will not be used optimally, and you could in fact end up putting on weight as a consequence

I always eat breakfast, its the most important meal of the day. I've skipped it before and like you I ate a big lunch but then I picked at my dinner like a choosy 5 year old. I try to eat something that's going to stick with me so I don't pig out at lunch and then want to sleep afterwards.

I also once had the habit of skipping breakfast. But when I knew how imprtant it is, I don't raelly care if i will come late for work, I just see to it that i eat my breakfast before i leave. It is because i've seen the positive effects when it comes to mental presence and physical alertness.
Health is Wealth, and there is no compensation for a good health. Perhaps you also want to look at that angle when chosing between a cup of coffee and a nice breakfast. It only takes 21 days to form a habit, and taking care of your health is a good one.

I generally eat breakfast on most days, what it consists of depends on teh day, but I do think it is the most important meal of the day, but if I don't feel like eating then I just don't eat.
I find if I go too long without food I get lightheaded and dizzy with stomach pains, but I do not require much sustenance to "take the edge off it" so I try to eat when I am hungry and little and often.

For the most part, I try to force myself to eat something in the morning because I know its important. But at the same time, a big breakfast doesn't sit well with me. So I will usually have a Kashi bar and some water. When I can't eat breakfast, I make sure that I have a good lunch.
