the last book I finished late was Plum Spooky by Janet Evanovich. would I recommend it? well, I did to my client, and I would again If you want to read it, I suggest you get her other books about Stephanie Plum first. Start with "One For the Money." Don't forget to read the other "Between the Numbers" books as well, "Visions of Sugar Plum", "Plum Lovin'" and "Plum Lucky."

I agree, but her romances are fun too. I like her stuff by herself better than the stuff she co-writes.

The last book I read was "Perelandra" by CS Lewis. It's the second book of his Space Trilogy. It's absolutely awesome. He uses JRR Tolkien as his main character and calls him Ransom. Very interesting and clever. I highly recommend the book. And as far as the weather goes . . . it's about 80 degrees F. in Southern Cal and gorgeous. I hear there's rain in the forecast though.

I know they both belonged to the same writers critique group called The Inklings, not sure if they were room mates but they did both go to Oxford.

Yes, I just got through reading a very worthwhile book last night. It was a compilation of stories from women called She Who Laughs, Lasts. I was encouraged, motivated, and I laughed so loud in some parts that I feared I'd wake my upstairs neighbor.

The last book I read was a classic novel I think was written in the 70s. Ghost Story by Robert Straub. I enjoyed it well enough. Probably not a favorite read and at times it made me really tired. There are a group of senior men that are the main people in the story, which for a young female may had been a tad boring. As for the weather! After 4 days of Deep Freeze, we got a storm of snow, then icy rain, then rain. THe schools in the whole Province (canada) have been canceled. The roads are bad and police are saying to be careful and only go out if you need to. Blah! No wonder I get the winter blues eh? Luckily I am fully stocked with books to read to keep me busy. Take Care Vicki

I just finished reading Double Cross by James Patterson - Part of the Alex Cross Series (Kiss the Girls and ALong came a spider). Before that I read the Maximum Ride Series - also by James Patterson - these books are aimed at young adults (I am far from that) in a way they are Harry Potter-ish but more Sci-fi. I just started Against Medical Advice also by James Cross. As you might be able deduce I am a James Patterson Fan. Oh, I snuck in The Third Secret - (Sort of like DaVinci Code) during the Maximum Ride Series. I would highly recommend All of these books

yes,you really have to read the Twilight series. If your are not a bookworm, you will definitely end up being one once you read this very vividly written book. The story runs between the love between Edward, a vampire and Bella a human being. The story is very endearing and enetertaining. The conflicts on how to be able to survive a forbidden love.Vampires running after Bella's throat,Werewolve bestfriends, vampires with extra powers beside super strength, more vampires, more werewolves and a half-human half-vampire child. The story is very addicting.im done with the complete series and im about to finish re-reading the four books again.Twilight has a blockbuster hit movie on its belt right now and they are filming the second book,New Moon, hopefully to be released before 2009 ends.I can't help but be excited to see it. i believe you will love to read the book for yourself.

Right now I am "reading" (audio book) The Cardinal Virtues by Andrew M. Greeley. So far it is good but I have not gotten too far yet. I usually listen to it before retiring at night.

I can, as long at there are no distractions. I can "read" more when I am tired that way, too, as I can close my eyes and listen. Of course, sometimes I fall asleep and have to go back to where I last remember, but sometimes, when tired and reading a book, I lose focus and can read a few pages and realize that I did not remember a word, so it is the same thing. I like them when I am in the pool, floating on my blow up raft, in the hot tub, taking a bath, when I do chores, and when driving. If I am on a trip like a bus or plane, or someone's car, I can do it on a portable CD player with headphones. If I read too much in a car, sometimes I will get car sick, not always, but this prevents that.

The last really good I read was called "What do you do all day?" by Amy Schiebe. It is a very funny book about a stay at home mom. I read it about 2 years ago and since then I haven't found another book that I really enjoyed as much.

The last book that I read was an autobiography of a local sportsman, and it was really good! I had it signed by the guy, so I'm never lending it to a friend incase I don't get it back! It showed a lot of him as a child and a young adult which I found really inspiring, so I will think of him as a really good rolemodel for when I'm feeling down, as he managed to cope with an awful lot in his life!

One of the last books I read was "The Pillars of the Earth" by Ken Follett. It was very good reading. You may want to get a copy and read it. I paid 50 cents for my copy at a used book sale. Now I want to get the sequel to this book.

Here is another book that I recently read. It's called Kiss of Fury by Deborah Cooke, the second book in her Dragonfire series. It's a paranormal romance between a scientist on the run and a dragon shapeshifter who is her reluctant protector. A fun read that combines romance, fantasy, action and environmental awareness, I would recommend this series who enjoys fiction and books about shifters and has romance it it. Read my complete review on my blog: http://readlistenandwatch.blogspot.com/2009/01/book-review-kiss-of-fury-by-deborah.html

I just got done reading "The Guardian" by Nicholas Sparks. It was kind of sappy but overall pretty good. I would recommend it if you like romance type novels. It wasn't as good as his other books but it was a good read at the time. I am reading the second traveling pants book right now. I wanted to get it read before the movie comes in the mail from my Netflix account. It's a guily pleasure I suppose :)

the last few books I read were awesome... but they were part of a series, and one was a series book that I have started to re-read. "Dark Prince" by christine feehan. also I just got done with the nightwalker series by Jacquelyn Frank which was the last book of that series was "Noah" I read paranormal romance, so if you are into that ...I HIGHLY recommend Jacquelyn Frank Nightwalker series, or Sherrilyn Kenyon Dark Hunter series, or Christine Feehans Dark series....all of them well worth the time to read!!!!!!!!
