Drink Water instead of taking tea in the morning ?

I totally agree with you. I have that habit too, drinking a glass of water first thing in the morning. I believe its more healthy and make you feel more refreshing because your body feel nourish and your kidney don't have to work hard.

Hi Nangisha,
It boosts me up in the morning and sustain me for the rest of the day. i am happy that i made this a habit for more than three months now. i too don't have any problem with bowel movement and even with pee.

My daily routine everyday when i wake up in the morning i drink 4-5 glasses of water.
I have this habit since year 2007 when my friend told me and of course when i have read it in the internet that truly guide me & make-believe that drinking more water everyday before taking up meals in the morning is of greatly helps to our body functions & improve our health conditions.
Now that i am doing it everyday i can attest & prove that it gives me more health benefits all day long...

By the way, my habit of drinking water daily of 4-5 glasses is...i do it gradually 1 at a time, like 1 glass of water in 5 minutes then another 1 glass in 5 minutes...so on and so forth.

Thats good you drink water in the morning but it is quite shocking that you drink 4-5 glasses of water in the morning..I can intake only 1 glass of water not more than that..i tried but fail to drink more than 1 glass..
Hope you will carry your daily routine in this way only in future..for the benefit of your health...

I don't know which is better water or tea because they are all needed in our body. I prefer to drink milk in the morning than tea or water. We are supplied by our company with free tea, free mineral water, free any kind of softdrinks and fruits but I always place milk to my food tray and drink it before I start eating my morning meal. I felt better the whole day if I drink milk in the morning.

hahaha but you know i also drink coffee in the morning because it's a good thing for digestion too. but only twice a day and never thrice or more. i did once and i almost had a heart attack for such nervous.

hi siliguri,
mostly instead of tea or coffee,i took plenty of water in the early morning,i will intake first 3/4 ltr of water and then with a gap of 30 minutes another 3/4 ltr of water,after drinking coffee,then brushing i will take once again 3/4 ltrs of water twice that means total 3 ltrs of water in the morning,one ltr before lunch and one ltr before dinner,it is very very good for health,have a nice day

I do drink at least eight glasses of water every morning before 9 a.m.; I do get up very early so there is no reason for me not to have time for my water. I manage tea and coffee with all that as well! Water is very beneficial; I have noticed an improvement in my skin.

Yes, i started this practise three months ago and it's really working for me. i never have any difficulty with my bowel movement and i feel good the whole day. i can only take anything thirty minutes after having the two glasses of water...though some say it would be better to take four glasses!

Yes, more people says that drinking water first thing in the morning is healthy. Some even says drinking one liter of water is good upon waking up. I tried doing that but i cannot take more than one glass. Besides, i am a coffee drinker and i usually take coffee evry morning with my breakfast.

Thanks for remembering me. My son who is a biology student told me about drinking a glass of water first thing in the morning, but I forgot. As I'm very sleepy in the morning I jump to my cup of coffee but I'll try to remember to drink a glass of water first. Although I use to drink much water during the day between the meals because I'm always thirsty.

This is very good suggestion and I am happy to say that I DO follow this. I drink 2-3 glass of water in the morning; this is first thing when I leave the bed. This is really beneficial as you said and helps to be away from many illnesses.
Try this; cost nothing just the same water with some discipline .

I usually have water too! My reasons are to help relieve a dry throat and fill up my tummy a bit so I will eat less. I would be really interested to hear what health benefits you think drinking water in the morning has?

Hey silliuri~ You are correct! I am also trying to drink more
water now too. I also have stopped drinking tea or juice in
the morning and having water. It is Summer here in NY and it is
getting hotter earlier so I like to keep drinking as much cold
water as I can!

Drinking a glass of water as soon as you get up is very healthy habit and one should make it a habit. This is more advisable.
Yes - I have this habit and also suggest too many of my friends. There are enormous benefits of this than taking tea. Tea encourages indigestion

Water is very helpful for health. I don't like tea or coffee. And everyday after brush my teeth i drink one glass normal water. Not so hot and not so cold.
I know it's very good habit.

Yes, I agree with you, I've tried drinking water after I get out of bed and I felt the benefit. I was able to for go the pains I used to feel on my joints and I feel much stronger even if I keep moving the whole day. Thank you for sharing this to everyone.
