Dear MyLotters, Cooking has been part of my routine. I am doing my cooking everyday for my family. Most of the time, I will choose to cook simple food for my family. I try to cook different type of dishes everyday. Sometimes, I will google for new recipes online or flip over the cookbooks for some recipes. I seldom dine-out as it is more healthy to eat home-cooked meal. Share with me,do you cook everyday? and do you enjoy cooking?

Hi, it is so good that your mother is doing the cooking for you. It makes me miss of my childhood, everytime my mother is doing the cooking and I just wait for the food ready to be served on the dining table. But now I have my own family and I need to take over the kitchen. I do cooking everyday for my family, a simple dishes for lunch and dinner. it is best to eat home cooked meal, more healthier.

Hi shia88, from the description, cooking everyday, preparing different types of dishes everyday, learning new recipes often....seems that your husband as well as your son are fortunate to have a responsible loving wife and mom who is more than willing to entertain their appetite with simple but delicious dishes Yeah, homemade foods are always considered to be the most hygienic, nutritive and healthiest dishes. My husband's elder sister is the chef of our family. She does all the cooking in the kitchen everyday. We appreciate all the food she served. We would praise her genuinely at anytime if the dish cooked is really delicious We usually eat out twice in a week to lessen her burden working hard all the time in the kitchen. I would cook occasionally during holidays or festive days for I have more free time. Happy posting!

Hi, Yes...I cook for my family everyday and I am trying to be a good wife and good mum for my husband and my son. I hope they appreciate on what i have done for them. I have been trying to cook differnt dishes everyday..at least won't be eating same dishes everyday and I totally agreed with you...homecooked meal is always the best, most hygienic and more nutrition. At least contain less salt, less MSG. You are so lucky that you have your sister-in-law as the chef for your family. So what is her favourite dishes? For my family, we seldom dine out unless we have certain function. Or else, my husband prefer to eat at home.

Hi there, I try to cook for my family when I am feeling well. I try to keep up with at least soup and salad everyday because they are healthy. I try to think of new ways and use whatever we need to use from the refridgerator. I never go out to eat and agree that it is healthier to eat in... and you'll know almost where the food has been.

Hi, I never make salad for my family yet and we as Chinese family, salad is just a side dish and frankly speaking, we seldom have a salad, even when we are out for dinner. As for soup,...yes,I cook 1 soup everyday, different kind of soup for the whole week, but my son and husband not really fancy on soup. They eat vegetable and meat/fish more than drinking the soup. It is healthier to cook ourself.at least less salt and no MSG. Once a while,it is fine to dine out,but not too often.

I am a mother and a wife and I stay home to take care personally of my family's every needs. We do not have a house helper. Thing is my husband works from home, too. It is very seldom he goes out with his colleagues and if ever still he comes home to eat. Naturally, I've no choice but to cook every single dish for the day except breakfast we only eat bread and drink coffee or choco. But, I don't hate cooking. As a matter of fact, I love to cook. Experimenting with new dishes and writing about them, too, in my site.LOL Have a wonderful day.:)

Hi, I am same position with you, we are a housewife. It is my duty to takecare of my family,do housechores, cooking and taking care of our kid. For me, I prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner everyday,Only during special occasions, then we will dine out. My husband prefer home cooked meal and with my son around, I also prefer him to dine in at home, not good to eat too much outside food. Oily, salty and too much MSG. I like cooking, but I just feel lazy to cook something complicated ,that need lot of time for preparation.I need to cook something simple and easy to prepare. As for breakfast, we always have something simple.Either sandwiches, instant noodle(once a while) ,or congee.

I also cook everyday for my husband and me. One reason I always have to cook everyday is that my husband doesnt like eating left overs and I dont wanna eat the left over all by myself so I just cook everyday and see to it that it is just enough for the two of us.

Hi, it is good to cook ourself. For me,I cook everyday for my family(my husband,my son and I myself). I just cook some simple dishes ,which is enough for 3 of us. Most of the time, I will cook 1 vegetable,1 soup and 1 fish/meat. Once a while,I will cook spicy food like curry.Of course, my son is not able to eat spicy food,so i will cook other dish for him. If I were to cook, i never have any leftover dishes. we will eat all finish at one go.

It is nice to cook everyday especially if you are cooking for yourself and for your family. It is also a great compliment to hear that they appreciate our efforts when they tell you that what you did was sooo delicious. It will inspire you more so no matter how hard it is to cook, it will be just easy for us to do it. I also look up to the internet on some dishes that is has ingredients locally available. I also make some substitutes if it is not available as well. It is really fun to cook so just enjoy cooking!

Hi, It is so good that your husband is a chef for your family and he does the cooking for the family during weekends. It has been quite sometimes that my husband never cook for me. I should drag him up to the kitchen and do cooking one day. Then I can have my rest and wait for his food to be served. I don't like to cook previously, but the situation forced me to cook and I have to do it too. I cook everyday for my family. Just a simple dishes for everyone and the most important is more healthier compared to outside food.

Since my son has to go to the swimming class everyday, so most of the time I am responsible to prepare for the dinner. Sometimes I will run out inspiration to make new dishes. Then I have to go to some cooking websites to find some new ideas. I am glad that sometimes the dishes created by me are so successful and everybody likes it:) I love China

I love cooking. I may not be perfect at it..but I'm certainly learning and trying! My motto is to just never give up. Sometimes it may be hard when you have a major screw up or burn dinner, lol, but if you don't keep trying, you'll never get better! I cook dinner every evening. My husband helps with dinners on the weekends because he's a pretty good cook himself.

Hi there shia, I don't cook every day since I still live with my parents and have to go to school so it's not that easy to prepare dinner as well. But I do love doing it, well, the things I am able to make without burrying anything. The easy stuff as pancakes or scrambles eggs, spaghetti,... that stuff^^ But later on I really plan on doing it more :) The healthier the better though, but there has to be some flavour in it. You can be as healthy as you want, but still get medical problems. We should try to create the best without having all the good stuff out of the recipes^^ Enjoy your day shia, here's my thought, all the best

I love to cook, but lately I have no time cooking since I've got busy schedules since the past fewmonths. But when I have time I try to cook. I usually dine out. Then when I have time I try those new recipes, experiment to achieve the test of the dish Ihave eaten prior in a restaurant and have them tastedby my family, and they would always say, I can cook well even without recipe book. which flutters me too.

Hi, I can understand when someone gets busy, sure no time to cook.It goes same to me,when I was working last time, I hardly cook and most of the time I will cook during my off-days.SOmetimes, I even lazy to cook on my off-days. Now, I have my own family and with one kid around,it is best to eat home-cooked meal rather than dine out. Food outside is too oily and salty and may not good for kids. You are also another good chef...so what is the best dish you ever cooked before?

I cook every day for my family. I came from a long line of cooks and restaurant owners. As a cook and past caterer my recipes have been enjoyed by many people over the years. A couple of years ago I started writing articles and recipes, health articles on foods and thought it would be great to share them with others. It is fun and a nice feeling when a total stranger comes back and comments that the recipe was a success at one of their family gatherings. Happy Cooking!
