Okay, so I am planning a honeymoon this year, and I can't seem to decide where I would rather go, and neither can my fiancee. So let me ask you MyLotters:
Which of these destinations would you rather travel to, for a honeymoon:
- A Caribbean cruise, as well as a stop in Miami and New York.
- Paris, several weeks.
- Cruising in the Greek islands.
- China, a round trip.
If you could tell me why you prefer what you prefer, that would be even better :)

If your honeymoon is set on a summer season you can choose between Caribbean and Greek Islands. Because most of the great spots there are beaches. You will not enjoy dipping in the water if the weather is cold. If you like historical places, you might as well consider China. For romantic ambiance, you should choose Paris.
Its hard to choose, but I prefer to go in Caribbean because they almost got everything you wish for like if your adventurous you can try surfing, scuba diving, kayaking, sailing, hiking, rock climbing and many more. Have a Romantic dinner in Jamaica. If you want to relax you can have a spa or you can shop. There is also historical places and other things.

Yes, I am indeed getting married in the summer, so the weather should not be a very big issue no matter where I go I think. I hope so anyway!

It depends on how much you have traveled, and what you like to do. If you have had the opportunity to travel, then I would suggest a RELAXING vacation for your honeymoon, with some things to do, but not an overwhelming amount. If this is your only chance to travel for a while, then you might want to pick a more action-and-sights-packed one. As a honeymoon trip, I think the cruising the Greek isles option sounds pretty nice. Wherever you go, have fun!

We have both travelled a lot... so I guess a really long and exotic trip is out of the question because of that. But on the other hand, I have always dreamed of going to China for various reasons... and Paris is supposed to be very romantic etc. So it is really hard to choose because of that...

It depends what season you are going to travel and in what you guys prefer to do. I know for my husband and I no doubt it would be a cruise or at least the Caribbean for 2/3 weeks visiting a few countries there, snorkling, scuba-diving etc. Some hotels have a swim-up bar which is an awesome experience if you like cocktails.
I am not a fan of China except for business and France was not as amazing as I was hoping.

I was going to say either the Caribbean cruise with the stop offs (this would be my choice) or cruising around the Greek Islands, but I just read your reply to a poster above saying it has been a dream of yours to go to china, in that case I would follow your dream and do that. If its something you have always wanted to do then this could be the time to do it!

As me, I'll choose China. Because I don't much money. The trip to China is quite cheaper than other places and you can enjoy many kind of dishes and strange culture.

ehmm... let me see... i definitely would like to go for somewhere quiet and romantic on my honeymoon... so china is definitely out of the question as it is not a romantic place at all... miami, new york and paris are also out because they are just too busy and hectic for a honeymoon... cruising in greek islands will be my option because i had seen a movie that is being filmed in greek and i love it... it is such a romantic and beautiful place... in fact, i had been asking my hubby to take me there as i want to go to the aegean sea... :-) take care and have a nice day...

They all sound great. The Chinese round trip sounds absolutely intriguing to me, as someone who has never been to the most populous nation on earth. If you like sailing and the sea, then the cruises sound wonderful. The only one I can recommend from personal experience is Paris. Everything that has been said about this city is true: it has a breathtaking beauty and mysterious romantic power and charm that cannot be described in words: you have to experience it.

I would choose the option of a Caribbean cruise with visits to Miami and New York. I haven't been on a cruise so it would be a new experience right for a romantic honeymoon. I like seeing tropical islands and seeing cities. I would want to visit in the cruise Tobago, Grenada, St Vincent, Barbados, Martinique, Dominica, the Virgin Islands and Jamaica. Then he and I would fly from Jamaica to New York with a few days in Miami on the way. I have already been to Paris and the Greek Islands. I would love a trip to China but the Caribbean cruise is my first choice.

I would pick the caribbean cruise, mostly because I love the caribbean islands. It would be romantic and as relaxing or adventurous as you wanted it to be. I would just be careful with the month that you pick to cruise since the weather could make for choppy waves.

I vote for the Carribean cruise with stops in Miami and NYC.
Mostly because Paris is amazing and great to visit, but for a week or two. several weeks in that city seem too much. But that's my decision based purely on the fact that I find French difficult to communicate with (unless you speak their language).
Greek islands are great and all, but Greece is having serious economic problems right now and there are strikes and people in unrest. I don't know when that will be resolved, so I wouldn't plan a honeymoon there.

Yes, good point about the language in Paris! I don't speak French either, so that could indeed get a bit annoying after a while. I didn't even think of that, so thanks for pointing this out! :)

If you are on a traveling budget I would suggest that you go to China. This is a really wonderful country with all the cool places to visit and the lower cost of staying in this country. Also shopping here is one of the best considering their many bargains.

For a honeymoon, I would say you should go on a cruise either on a Caribbean cruise or the Greek islands. Now that depends on what would you like for a honeymoon. If you want white sand beaches, lounging and stuff, go on a Caribbean cruise. If you are into history, nice villas by the cliff with matching gorgeous sunset views, and food ( i love greek food ), you should go for the Greek Islands...

I recommend you to Kunming, China. In this cold winter,to kunming is best choice. In Kunming It is like spring all the year round,in addition, there scenic spots and historical sites spread all over the place,It is worthy of special mention that kunming is noted for camellia.I declare that I am not from kunming, the reason why I know it well is that I have been to there ten times.
