It is Weird...

Yes I have felt this way often. It it disappointing to see that when you think that you have done well that day.

Yes I do, just lately mine seem to have dropped, but then again I haven't been keeping an eye on the time I spend on MyLot. I read in one of the replies (the question of how the earnings are arrived at is always coming up) that they count the sentences. Whether that is true or not I don't know. It is good to get those little surprises though, I had one when I did a Search and they gave me an extra .07 that I was not expecting!

I am never disappointed. Any money earnt just for having fun is a bonus and any amount, no matter how large or small, is welcome I never thik about earning when I am here and certainly don't consider myLotting as a job or work therefore it is all extra.

That has happened to me. It does seem weird. But I just don't think about it. I come here, I start off by responding to my emails and if the mood strikes me I will start a discussion. I am also promoting MyLot all the time. I feel as most do here that MyLot is the best social forum on the internet and love coming here day after day.

Yes you are right, I don't understand a bit of work how is this payment process works as, do we have to get more replies or type a ton or reply or lot or what ever. And I would also like to know how to earn more in mylot.

I know how you feel. It seems like when I just kind of "let it go" and "have fun" I do pretty well but if I am actually trying to make the money, I tend to fail.. as I view it as "work". I do need the extra money I make here on mylot, and so more often then not I view it as a "job"..

I kind of know what you are talking about because I know that especially this week I've been spending more time on mylot because of the fact I want to increase my earnings for this month because I know that I sure can use the money that I will be getting in December to finish off my Christmas shopping. However, despite the fact that I've been trying to spend more time on here, I really don't feel like my earnings reflect the time that I've been spending on here. However, that really is okay with me because of the fact I still really enjoy the company that I find while I am on the site.

Yes, I do. All the time! I think this is because Mylot is scanning every post that we do so if a lot were scanned for us in a day, the higher the earnings. If not, then we get the exact opposite. The key here is that we should keep doing this as consistently as often as possible and try not to monitor your earnings every day. Eventually, you get the surprise of earning much. Refer people you know and don't know to this site by using the referral link so that you can earn more.

Well this is the fact, where money is involved this can happens. I am new here and i only earned 12 cents. And i am hoping that i will perform better.

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well yes u are absolutely right, this has happened with me on several occasions. I am yet to understand the scheme of earnings and it is exciting at times to see how our earnings are updated and it keeps you guessing all the time. Ha ha ha. Sometimes when i have worked so much i get to see very less earnings and i think we should hardly pay any attention to these things as it is very hard to predict the payment scheme. What say?

Hi my dear.. you are not alone. It happen to me most of the time. I thought I did a lot co's I was tired and lost of words but when look at my earnings the next day, it almost makes me want to cry. But I guess lets just continue on participating and make this site a piggy bank. I'm not really stressing myself here. I just do this when I want to avoid disappointment. And I'm making my payout high enough so that I'll earn here. Happy mylotting!

I'm new comer here,just for practicing,friends and fun. Maybe money is the thing encourage people to write more here,and attract more people to sign in as well.We have to admit that MyLot is much better than other similar website.

I am contented enough on what I get here on mylot. I don't expect get more here so that I am not disappointed when the results is a bit small...

Yes I did feel the same way too. The other month, I use to participate a lot here in mylot and spend longer hours than my other sites- and I admit that I am a bit disappointed with my earnings. That is why I have lessen my activity here and give my other sites sometime. I can see that my earnings is not doing well since last month...I don't understand why.

I have been here for 4 years but see my number of post are fewer than most of the older members here. That is because I don't worry about how much I post and how much I will earn from it but because I am here to learn and have fun. I'm sure you too are here for fun and the extra earnings are a plus to you. I don't find it weird if I earn just a little even if I have already made too many posts in a day. I don't even sometimes see how much I had in my balance because I really don't care much about it. We understand that you are worried of everything, that's life, sometimes we care too much about something and we worry about it as well.

Hi LovingMyBabies The only time I ever look above the Banner on this site is when I need to do something on my preference settings. I have never been here for any money and as such it doesnt matter to me. I do not take the amount above to be a benchmark of how good / bad my day was at MyLot. I look for the responses/comments my discussions/responses/comments got me - I love the interactions more than anything else here.

Hi , I too feel the same way some times but got to know that is the quality of posts we make that will be earning for us but not the quantity only.So i think we must make the responses which are informative as most of the people do here and hope that earns good for us.

Oh is that so? I just wonder how they rate the "quality" of the discussions and comments. But indeed they are very strict.
