If we waste so many valuable things, it is like throwing all the blessings you had received. For instance, if we are going to prepare some food, it should not be wasted. If there is an excess, we can share it to others. Some people can see the value of wasting the foods, since some people in the border line of poverty are having difficulty to feed themselves and their family.

Wasting food is very bad. It is from your income you buy the necessary food items you need. We should not waste food. There are many people around us who even cant afford to buy normal food items. If we don't want a particular food ,we can give it to the poor ,if the food is fresh. When we look at the people who don't have any food to eat,we will realize how blessed we are....

Yes you are very right! Life is so hard, many people are starving so we have to value every bit of food and every cent that we have. We should not cook or buy more than we can consume and if ever there are excesses we can always share them to other people to avoid wastage. Wasting food or anything that we buy is wasting money. Money for me is not that easy to find so I take every opportunity to be wiser in spending it.

Agree. Wasting food is really like wasting money.. We should always be thankful every blessings we have not by wasting it but by giving it to the most needy people.

Yes, it's the same. If we are in excess of something especially food we could share it to others, instead of going to waste. We use our money to buy this things so why waste it.

Wasting is never a good thing! It is a sign of disrespect I feel. My grandmother taught us never to waste...anything really, including food. Food costs money and it is a basic need we have for it so we should respect it.
There is a saying, "waste not, want not". I feel this is very true...if we do not waste, we will not want.

I agree, it's wasting money to waste food. I try to never waste it. I eat leftovers, sometimes just like they are, and sometimes I make them into something else, but I don't throw them out. I know some people do and I've never been able to understand that. Even if one has plenty of money, it's not very smart to buy something just to put in the trash.

Is terrible to waste food because there are so many people in the world who go hungry to bed everyday. In some countries, they have restaurants that you have to pay a penalty if you leave food in your plate.

I don`t believe anymore that if I use less food, the surpluss will do to the hungry ones. I am aware that the producers prefer to burn food in order to mantain their prices. But still, on a personal level, I will not have any sort of food thrown away. I use all my leftovers and they are many times better than the first meal. I do share part of what I have with the lady helper who comes to my house twice a week to do the jobs I cannot do now that I`m not completly healthy.

Yes, i do agree with you. I am so sad that people are taking this for granted. they don't care about the foods that they brought home. they brought it but they have no intention to eat it nor to finish it. I always feel angry towards such attitude. I don't know how could they waste the food just like that. I have told them too many times but they still wasting. maybe they feel that they are afford to have it more so they get more but it totally not a good idea to waste your food.

Yes, I totally agree with you. I don't like people who waste food, water, power, or other things. Sometimes it is easy to turn off the lights, to turn off the stopcock, but they are not willing to do it. I always think these people are not educated well.

That's always the line of my papa. Wasting of food is wasting our money too. Not all of us are abundance of food. We should be grateful of what our food on the table. Just cook which is also the right amount for the family. I hope others can realize it too.

I do my darned best not to waste food. It is very difficult sometimes because I can only get to the store twice a week. Then I can only cook and clean when I feel well, when Fibromyalgia isn't attacking me but hard.
I end up freezing quite a bit of food for when I am sick and can do nothing but throw things in the microwave.
Crock pots are my friends. They make wonderful stock pots, toss less than attractive frozen veggies and meat into them, separate the meat from the bones and the freezer burned veg, and you have the makings for soups.
food, veg, soups, croc pots, waste, stock,

Yes, my husband HATES to waste food! We try to eat up all our leftovers before they get too old.
In a restaurant, if there is something I don't like, my husband tells the waitress to bring it anyway, on the side, and he will eat it.
My husband is very frugal and is teaching me to be that way too.

Wasting food is definitely wasting money. I think we should plan and prepare our meals so that food does not spoil and we are tempted to throw it away because we are bored with it or don't like it. Plus we can save more of our money if we use our food more wisely.

I would often tell my kids to learn to appreciate what God has given us. I do not want hearing them complain about what food is on the table. The little thing I expect them to do is to atleast appreciate that they are able to eat something and are ale to eat 3x in a day. Unlike a lot of people in the streets who depend on garbage just to get by.
