I only take one coffee per day, usually in the morning, but my husband take 3 and sometimes more. I used to think that so much coffee was bad for his health but now I read an article about coffee and It says It has a lot of health benefits taking at least 3 coffees per day. I think I will increase my coffee intake for at least 2 a day. I love the coffee' smell but I think It doesn't taste the same as It smells What about you? Do you drink coffee?

I start my day with an early cup of coffee and many more cups as the day progress. When I was younger that would be about 5-6 cups but I am trying to cut down my coffee consumption....by using smaller cups.

Yes, there does appear to be benefits from drinking 3-5 cups per day. Some of these benefits are lower risk of cardiovascular disease and developing diabetes.

I like drinking coffee. Most of the time I will drink it in the morning so that I can be energetic for a whole day. I dare not to drink a lot of coffee because I am afraid I will be addicted and depend on it. Too much coffee is harmful for the health. Whereas suitable coffee will be good for the health.

My dad drinks about 12 cups a day. If you drink coffee black it has health benefits but when you add sugar and flavored creamer etc then it isn't good for you. I have to try to limit how much sugar I have as my face gets very red so I just have one big mug of coffee a day. I use milk, artifical sugar, and powdered flavored creamer in my coffee. I added milk today and forgot the sugar and creamer and gagged lol

Coffee is good for you, but I'd suggest a moderate consumption. Overconsuming of coffee may lead to various health complications, not because of the coffee beans itself, but because of the complimentary sweeteners and dairy products included. A cuppa or two is fine.

@nela13 I think it is fine to control oneself in consuming coffee in a day. We don't want to change the regular beats of our heart

Coffee is like a stimulant , so for those who suffer from hypertension it would be best to use decaf.
