Life Must Go On

I was undecided about writing this depressing post when everyone is celebrating the New Year, but I want you to know why I will not be online often the next few days.
Early this morning, my dear mother has stopped to suffer, she has closed her eyes forever. She is now free of pain and she surely already reached her dear husband.
I thought to be prepared, as she has been very sick for almost two months, well I am not.
No matter the age, losing someone you love is an incredible pain.
She has gone, but she always will be in my heart.
May be I will be online tomorrow, but not sure Thursday and Friday.
Thanks to all those who kept her in their prayers.

She was sick during the night, the doctor called my brother and we had to decide if to go for an invasive therapy or let her go. Since the day she had the stroke she was paralyzed and in pain. I hope we took the best decision. Now she can rest in peace.

I don't think we can ever be prepared for a life shattering event such as the loss of your mother. I've been thinking about your situation all over Christmas Anna, and hoping that she would have a peaceful end.
Condolences, but at least she is not suffering now.

I know what its like to lose a parent. No matter how ill, it is still difficult to say Good By. I'm sorry for your loss but like you, glad her pain is over. Big hugs to you during this time of mourning and celebration of life.

@LadyDuck No one is prepared, grieving is healthy and necessary. It doesn't just go away, it makes you live through it. Big hugs during this sad time.
