Going to sit down and write myself a letter

It's rare that I write a "real" letter these days, but I did write a nice one to my son's teacher for all the great things she does - that was just before Christmas.

I wrote some at Christmas time

I haven't written a letter in a very long time. I do usually include a short note when I send out greeting cards though.

Once in a while I do write a letter but a lot shorter than before.

I used to write to my mother every week for years and years then later I'd email every week and someone would read it to her in the nursing home. I hope you have a lovely visit with your daughter when she visits.

I can't honestly remember the last time I wrote a personal letter! I've written a fair few complaint letters though

I don't remember the last time. My hand writing is terrible, so I have never been much of a letter writer.

I agree, it is more personal and it also gives a person something to hang onto and enjoy in the future. I love going through my old letters from my mom, grandparents, my dad, and brothers and sister, aunts and uncles from long ago. Some of those letters are over 50 years old! The last time I wrote a letter was at Christmas and I wrote a couple pages to about 4 people I really love. They are far away and I rarely see them. Although we can chat online and Facebook and email, letters are so much better. I'm sure your daughter will love receiving your letter!

It has been a long time that I had written a letter offline. I just do it online. In fact, I used to collect snail mails before. Now, I haven't seen any in my mailbox and only bills to pay.

Writing is more personnel than an email that is for sure.

I write letters to my husband during some special occasions. I leave the letter on the table so he can find it in the morning during breakfast.

Wow! So nice.. As for me, it was really really long time ago.. It was when i had my first loved, back in 2015-2016, iwas so madly in love that being creative of writing and designing a love letter for him is my past time.. Wow! Love really makes u another person whom you don't know you are or u can..

I wrote a five page letter to my brother in Alberta a few months ago. It was very personal. We've been a lot closer since then. :-)

I email often and text message etc but I can't even tell you the last time I wrote anyone a letter in the mail.

I can't remember the last time I wrote an actual letter, it's been so long. I just use email.

As a matter of fact I have to write a letter soon to my ex sister-in-law. Yes, we keep in touch and I owe her a letter.

Letter service has been reduced after the invention of e mail .Nowadays we used to contact relatives only by mobile phone.
