My tarot reading for April says there is a Devil card and death card...sigh...
I am going to fight with somebody or somebody is going to fight with me. Wait a minute, that is the same...right...sigh...LOL
So do you listen to your monthly readings, or even weekly or daily readings, and do you feel elated or terrible based on those?
I don't normally of course...but I have just caught on infection as my father is recovering. And my mind is morbid enough...with temperature.
Moral of the story...never hear astrological forecasts or read them or watch them. You are at least spared apprehension. What will be will be. LOL

Do you get your tarot readings done monthly? I don't do any of that :) Or read my horoscopes.

I read my horoscope every day but usually forget what I've just read almost as soon as I've read it.

Whenever I do read, I make it a point to read all those of my friends and enemies so that it is a big jumble and soon forgotten. lol That said, if you notice the astrologers cleverly give you three possibilities. One is positive, one is negative and one is moderate. Probability of one of the three coming true is inevitable. Right? LOL.

Not at all. Especially with cards. I just don't do it. Once in a blue moon my friend would check her star sign, we both have the same.

I do read at times but that is because my English is poor, and they do give some information at times...they talk so much and in the end you are left wondering what was he saying or what did he convey. But all English sentences are perfect. LOL.

It's just a tarrot card, what do you have to be afraid of it. Unless some one put a curse on it, it's nothing to worry about. Fortune telling is just a guide.

There is only one astrological forecast I trust and it is the weekly readings by Rob Brezsny. He is accurate to the point of amazing! :-)

@vandana7 I love his readings. He always gives an analogy of what he means in his reading. Kind of like a visual reference. :-)

@Starmaiden I checked on his readings...analogies were difficult for me to comprehend.

When I was younger I used to read my horoscope every day in the paper and I believed it! I once went to a medium to see what she could tell me but she didn't reveal anything spectacular. She could have guessed any of it. I have a friend who believes in the tarot cards but I'm not sure and a horoscope reading wouldn't affect me now.

As I see it, if it is a happy event I am looking forward to, it will come in its time. It will be a HAPPY event. If it is a sad event then obviously I am not looking forward to it. Why should I know about something sad that is likely to happen say 3 weeks from now, and ruin the comfortable three weeks worrying...oh that MAY happen. So thanks but no thanks.

I know ...if I try to avoid small accident, and feel relieved about it, a bigger one may hit me. Who knows smaller one was actually guardian angel helping me out, and I told her get out of my way I can take care of myself, because this lady told me, and bang...

I don't understand any of it Pony! I am afraid to say so because people will think I am uneducated if I say I don't know the characters they are quoting about...but one thing. They use perfect English to say nothing. That is an art I think I need to master because it is monetarily rewarding. LOL

Your horoscope:
You may be so comfortable with your current plans that you miss a significant memo from the cosmos, warning you to remain flexible in spite of your self-confidence. You are determined to show your coworkers what you can do, rather than retreating to reevaluate your strategy. Nevertheless, it’s not wise to let your ego run the show now, even if you possess the willpower to persevere.
and
Take a long hard look at your emotional resources. You could be surprised to see how numerous and how solid they are. This could come as quite a relief, especially if you've been feeling a little insecure lately. So buck up, sweet pea, and spread the word that you need a little extra TLC from the ones who you know care. They'll be more than willing to give it to you.

@Daljinder Seriously...the predictions are so couched in ambiguous explanations that you wonder what has been told to you at the end of coming out of those words maze. And even so, three to four predictions are common...your career it is going up or down. Your health is going to be good or bad. Your finances are going to be up or down. Your relations are going to be good or bad. Even if one tallies you would start believing in them. What a smart way to fool people. lol

If such readings affect you, it's better to avoid them. I do believe in astrology but not those that come out daily.

Tarot cards aren't worth the time to rip them up. It's a lie!

Tarot is unfamiliar for me but based on the context clues, haha, it's somewhat a forecast update?

I didn't believe in those superstitious beliefs. Even though sometimes I feel scared when I read tarot/ horoscopes, I believe God more than these things.
