Scientifically speaking Potatoes are vegetables and in India we mostly use them as Vegetables.
I know many people around the World use them as the source of Starch and use them as staple food in daily life!
May I know how you use potatoes, as a vegetable or as a Staple food? And why?
Please respond your responses will be highly appreciated!

Whether we like it or not, our hair will change over the span of our lifetime. For a lot of us, that involves developing gray hair. Some may like their hair ...

I use potatoes as vegetable and as a snack. Both are yummy. But as much as possible, I get away with fried.

I use them as vegetable but cook them in many different ways. They can be boiled, baked, mashed or fried. I like baked potatoes where you can add a filling such as tuna or cheese.

@AKRao24 You can do them in the oven for crispy skins or microwave them for soft skins.

I've never ate paper with staples. - joking lol
Seriously, never thought about that before. We always had potatoes at home along with another veggie and often a meat. There are a few ways to have them cooked but mostly boiled and mashed with a little milk is my main meal otherwise its rice yeah.

It's like a vegetable I use as staple food. Potatoes can be used in a great big variation: mashed, fried, as a complement (when you do meat in a sauce for example) or as a main dish. I love the "Tortilla espaƱola" (egg omelette with potatoes), very common in Spain.

I use potatoes as vegetables. I mixed it with one of the traditional Filipino foods namely "menudo" and " kare- kare". I love to eat this.

@AKRao24 Potatoes are potatoes, they are just a separate dish. If I serve meat with potatoes, I must serve vegetables as a separate side dish as well. They are not substitutional to vegetables
