I think the response of @yukimori would suffice but just to let everyone know, the Philippines has marital rape laws in place.

@augusta123 rape most of the time has the element of force so that is one good way to start the investigation

@augusta123 When there is true love and caring in a marriage - none of this would ever occur.

I really don't know how anyone would think its weird..
it happens, and probably way more often than we think.

I believe it is so. When a husband and wife gets married, it is natural that they make love. This is of course must be consensual or meaning both agreed to the act without force. I know there is a case about this.

It must be martial discord between both and she is taking the shelter of rape to get rid of her husband, in my view.

@augusta123 How would you prove that someone entered your house without your consent?

@1hopefulman If there is a broken lock - but many times the cops say there is no sign of forced entry.

@augusta123 For some women who are empowered. They dump their husbands.

Yes I think so. If the husband forced the wife then it's rape.

If the wife said "no" or "stop" but the husband kept on coming on to her and even kept on doing more than that that's rape in my opinion. Rape is rape even if the people happen to be married or are in a relationship.

Yes, i heard a case like that. It's marital rape... it is natural for married couple to make love. But if the situation is like , for example, the husband wants to make love but then the wife refuses. She refused until her husband got what he wanted. The wife then filed a marital rape case against her husband. A man should respect the decision of the woman.
Oh well, i am just sharing what i knew about this.
